Apr 4, 2012I think that apple should have a securitypassword when changing options on the icloud. Because if i were to steal and iphone all i have to do is go to the settings, go to icloud, and a simple swipe of the find my iphone and there is nothing they can do about it. I am posting this because i was worrying about my phone being stolen and i thought "oh well" i have the find my iphone turned on, and then it hit me, "how hard is it to turn that off" and answer is, no difficulty at all and i think apple should do something to fix that.

Jul 1, 2012Every time I try to get an app from the Itunes store and I put in my password for Apple ID I get a message saying that my Apple ID password has been reset for security reasons. I have changed it multiple times and keep having the same problem the next time I sign in. My password seems to work on the computer but not with my iphone.

May 5, 2012my daughter and I have just got our new iPhones but I can´t create and Apple ID för her so she can´t use the ICloud service. So I tried using the one I created for myself resulting in that all my contacts apeared in her phone. What should we do?
Apple how about letting parents confirm the Apple ID for their kid but it should be created with the kids name and birthday how difficult can it be? am I the first mum who bought and Iphone for my kid?
And by the way how do we get access to all the old contacts stored on the SIM card from our preIPhone time? I thought that everything just work with Apple but I am beginning to think that I should have choosen and Android... I mean changing brand of phone doesn´t exactly mean that you want to cut contact with all your old friends..

Apr 21, 2012The story so far: I bought an accessory in Nov 2011 at an Apple Retail Store. (Philips dual-dock speaker) It started malfunctioning in Mar 2012. (Dock not charging anymore) I brought it to an Apple Store (closer to my place), they were happy to replace it on the spot, except that there was none in stock. So I was advised to go to an other Store (the original one), where they had stock. So far, so good for service. I went to the other store, but there I was told that they could not replace it because I had bought it more than 14 days before, so I had to contact the manufacturer directly! So my questions are:
- What is, if any, the actual policy on non-Apple product repair & replacement?
- Why don't all store follow the same policy?
- Should I just try my luck again with another person, until I strike gold and get it replaced?

Jul 25, 2010I made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?

On my home network, I've got my WPA2 which appears to be sufficient, but I'm worried about the following scenario: I'm at an airport or an internet cafe,connect to the free public wifi for some not-private web browsing, and my phone and computer decide to sync over the public network.Is my data open or encrypted to the view of someone else on that network?The phone is set for backups to be encrypted on my computer,and my user directory is encrypted on the computer as well.
