Jun 26, 2012My apple id used to be connected with visa debit card, now the card isn't active anymore since I stopped funding it. I cannot download free apps using my apple id because it keeps on telling me that I should update payment method. I don't use any credit card anymore. There is no "NONE" option in the payment methods. What do I do now? i only want to get free apps and retain my current apple id bec i need it for updates.

Mar 12, 2012My AppleID in the settings>iCloud tab of my iphone4 is incorrect. A box pops up to tell me that it is incorrect, and I can either edit or ignore. When I select 'edit' the account information pops up: AppleID, password, and description.
the problem is this: it will allow me to change the password and the description, but the appleID is in grey text and therefore unavailable for editing. UGH.
my appleID in the store is correct. my appleID settings are verified as correct on the myappleid part of the apple site.
Why won't it allow me to change it? I'd really like to get the cloud up & working!

Mar 24, 2012A friend of mine recently purchased an iPhone 4S, but he hasn't a credit card nor does his parents want to give him their credit card number to create an iTunes account. Now, I googled the problem and saw that he simply has to choose "None" when asked for payment type. But he told me there is no "none" option there. I checked it myself and saw there is really no one. You have to choose a credit card or PayPal.
I tried to type a random 16-digit VISA number but it doesn't work.
Has Apple really removed the "none payment type" option? What should the mate of mine do to open an iTunes account? I mean, it ***** as he can't download any apps.

Apr 21, 2012The story so far: I bought an accessory in Nov 2011 at an Apple Retail Store. (Philips dual-dock speaker) It started malfunctioning in Mar 2012. (Dock not charging anymore) I brought it to an Apple Store (closer to my place), they were happy to replace it on the spot, except that there was none in stock. So I was advised to go to an other Store (the original one), where they had stock. So far, so good for service. I went to the other store, but there I was told that they could not replace it because I had bought it more than 14 days before, so I had to contact the manufacturer directly! So my questions are:
- What is, if any, the actual policy on non-Apple product repair & replacement?
- Why don't all store follow the same policy?
- Should I just try my luck again with another person, until I strike gold and get it replaced?

Jul 25, 2010I made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?
