IPhone :: Can't Open An Apple Account

A friend of mine recently purchased an iPhone 4S, but he hasn't a credit card nor does his parents want to give him their credit card number to create an iTunes account. Now, I googled the problem and saw that he simply has to choose "None" when asked for payment type. But he told me there is no "none" option there. I checked it myself and saw there is really no one. You have to choose a credit card or PayPal.
I tried to type a random 16-digit VISA number but it doesn't work.
Has Apple really removed the "none payment type" option? What should the mate of mine do to open an iTunes account? I mean, it ***** as he can't download any apps.

All of a sudden, all my (non Apple) apps fail to open.
dmesg shows "AppleFairplayTextCrypterSession::fairplayOpen() failed, error -42184".
This is "original iPhone 8GB with iOS 3.1.3".
Was running fine till last week I powered completely off and on again - a couple of times - right before the problem showed up.(I cycled power the first time because it was running so slowly. The second time because "No WiFi" showed up in "Settings". After the second reboot "WiFi" was back, but after that none of my non-Apple applications would launch.)
Anyone have any idea what the problem is?(It would seem to be DRM (digital rights management) related. But why all of a sudden? Has iOS 3.1.3 been completely "timed out"?) I am thinking to restore from backup - through iTunes. I don't really have the option to "re-install" all my apps from the AppStore. Because most of them have moved on to "iOS 4" only versions...and my old iPhone can only support iOS 3.1.3.

Since i updated my iphone to ios 5.1.1 My iphone 4s keeps asking me to enter my apple id password any time i open an app.It has even started to pop up when i try to send messages or calls.Apps wont open unless i put the password in or press cancel.How do i stop this??

How do I delete the apple id and password I use on my iPhone and just use the one on my MacBook for both devices. When I bought my iPhone I tried to set up my apple id on the phone using the same username and password as on my MacBook but it didn't like my password on the iPhone.The password was acceptable on the MacBook but the iPhone required a more complicated password. So, I set up a separate Apple id on my iPhone and now I have two apple ids and I'd like to delete one and just use one for both devices.

I just preordered an iphone4 on apple's website and got an email verification, but it doesnt show up under my apple account order history. Does anyone have the same issue? I tried calling apple but of course they aren't taking any calls because of the craziness going on. I just want to make sure it went through and it's gonna be shipped to me and not some other random person.

I used to be able to use Paypal to pay for iPhone apps in the app store. Recently, when I try to buy or download a free app, I get an error message that says Paypal is not supported on my iPhone. I also have the Paypal app downloaded on my phone to use it for non-app store personal transactions I can use Paypal successfully for other transactions such as Amazon, etc. If it matters, the change occurred on my iPhone because I disputed a Paypal transaction for the Apple Store, and when the situation was being resolved i received a message (email maybe? I forget) asking me if I wanted to stop using that vendor. I misunderstood the question, and I chose "Yes," but did not realize it would mean Paypal was removed from my iPhone. How do I get my iPhone to support PayPal again?

My 5s iphone will receive emails, but can only access them with sira voice asking for mailbox. Will get a list of emails with about 3 lines of detail. when I tap the email it goed to four links, email, contact, calendar etc. but taping tham does nothing. Also when tapping mail from the home position it also takes you to those four links which do nothing?
