I have problem with my IPhone 3gs. I can open it, but after the apple logo appear about 1mins. then the apple icon and loading icon will appear. just like that. Nothing happen.

Even if the phone is locked and the screen is off, the message pop up unlock the phone and appears for 3-5 seconds and then disappear and the phone get bac to be locked and screen is off.

View 4 Replies View RelatedQuite often when I access voicemail on my screen, I hit "Play" the message, Siri opens up. I try and close it down and hit play again and it keeps popping open.I end up having to restart the entire phone. I am also noticing my voicemails are severly delayed in showing up as messages on my phone. Sometimes a few days later it will show i have a vm and when I listen to it, it was recorded 48 hours earlier. This is not consistent but intermittent.

A few months ago, I dropped my phone (the day before my case came in the mail, of course) and the screen went fuzzy, much like an old box tv for several minutes, then rebooted several times before catching up to itself. I'm not sure what on earth happened because of this drop, but since then I have had a huge amount of issues.
First- I cannot complete certain updates on my phone, including some system updates such as for "extras+info" and "Lumia Camera". I get the error code 80070539 on these failed updates, but I do not believe that is the real reason these apps will not update. One method I used to fix this was to make sure I accepted updated terms and conditions for Microsoft, which completed some updates, but I still have several left waiting.
Second- Several apps and processes just do not work at all. Example: settings>applications>photos+camera the screen begins to flip over to the photos+camera menu, then abruptly stops before returning to the applications menu. This exact scenario happens to several other processes throughout the phone, including the calendar app, adding new emails and accounts, etc.
Third- I cannot backup my phone. This is a major problem as I have an abundance of files that I desperately need on my phone, but whenever I attempt to backup my phone, it may make it up to 97% maximum before it says the backup failed. This is the primary reason I haven't attempted a hard reset yet, and I would prefer to avoid doing a hard reset unless we can manage to fix at least the backup issue.
Fourth- My computer will not recognize my phone. I am running a laptop with Windows 8.1, all my drivers are up-to-date, I've uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, etc. but the computer doesn't even recognize that I plug the phone in, even though my phone still charges at a normal rate. I have also tried different computers and different cables. Nothing has proven useful. There is not a place in my computer that I can find a trace of detection of my phone, not under devices/drives/anything.
I will try just about anything that doesn't involve losing all of my data.
I was doing a full reset of my phone and like an idiot, I shut the phone off. Now all I get is the Apple logo and can't go any further. What should I do now?

Hi, I thought to enter the world of iphone, so i went and brought a iphone 3G, i got it today and jail broke it using jailbreakme.com, Bt a while later i realized i want to remove some things on my iphone so i reset the phone back to factory settings, So i did that and now its stuck in the apple logo, i read online to do a hard reset and press home button to connect to itunes, and i did that, n it wants to update and restore, bt i dont want that, i want to keep my 4.0.1 OS. View 8 Replies View RelatedI've been reading posts of various people with the similar issue but I've started to see a trend. I've jailbroken about 5 phones and recently everyone except mine got stuck on the exact same apple logo of boot.
No new software was installed. The phone was working perfectly fine before it rebooted by itself. Is apple doing anything to cause this. I know this might sound stupid but a pattern gets me to think it might be true.
In my case, my phone was working perfectly and I went into the mail app to check my mail and the phone got blank and came up with the apple logo. To top it off, I don't have the ssh for my phone as It was replaced and apple stopped signing 3.1.2's. Can anyone help please.Is there anything besides restore I can try? I tried putting the phone in DFU and starting it up but it didn't help.
Will it be a scratch magnet like previous iphones or will it be a different design/material because call me OC all u want, i hated that about my 3g and 3gs...my apple on the back getting scratched after wind passing by!

It doesn't look like scratches and doesnt seem like it's on the glass itself but on the metal part under the glass. I wanted to be a little less OCD with this phone (on my previous iphone I taped up the apple logo and then put it in a case), but it is just really bothering me. I already did a search and it seems like people are finding dust under their screen but I havent been able to find a thread with people finding specks on their apple logo.

I replaced the battery a week ago. It just shows the apple logo the restarts and keeps doing that forever. I tried turning it of and putting it in dfu mode but keeps doing that. I have an iphone 3gs that does nothing when not plugged in but when i plug it into the computer and the apple logo will come on and go off. I plug it into the wall charger and it boots up but says the phone needs activated and wont let me do anything else and when i unplug it to plug it into the computer it shuts off.
