She was on a Vodaphone contract.I removed my Pay-as-you-go sim card from my old Motarola and fitted it, everything fine, 8900 up and running. All my contacts appeared but when I go to add or edit a contact , I cannot enter the Add Contact screen, I can open any of the contacts (edit dos'nt work either) but cannot open said Add Contact screen!!

I click 'Cancel' but it keeps reappearing and interfering with other apps. What did I do to get this and what do I do to get rid of it? Is it someone or something phishing for my password? View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my xperia z3 a few months ago and I decided I want to root it. I got as far as unlocking the bootloader but now that I need to put it into recovery mode I found out I can't. I have tried multiple methods, the power off then power on while pressing the volume bottons and other variations of that. I also tried usind android-sdk the "adb reboot recovery", and it took awhile to figure that out and once i got it to work all it did was reboot the device. It did not go into reovery mode, I don't get an LED light when i power the phone on like most of the guides say I should be getting. I'm getting really frustrated, I've searched far and wide on the internet for a similar problem and all of the instances i have found have been on rooted phones so the fix is easy, this phone has never been rooted, only the bootloader has been unlocked.

The screen automatically refreshes itself every 10 seconds or so, not leaving me with enough time to input my info. Because of this, I can't put any apps on my phone.

I just grabbed a SGS6 on 5.0.2 stock Samsung rom which i rooted with PingPong root method to avoid tripping my knox.
Everything works flawlessly but the phone seems to be unable to enter in deep sleep mode. I have already cleaned my cache from stock recovery without success.
My partner and I have both brought E71's, I set up access to my email easily then went to do my partners phone and we get up to the enter email address step and it kicks us out and wont let us enter a password or anything....

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just updated my BB 9700 for the first time (511 updates to be exact). The upgrade is currently at 11 out of 12 upgrades and it is taking about 45 minutes to initialize before it gives me the message: "The desktop loader is unable to connect to the device, you may need to enter a password on the device."
The BB is not asking for password and I do not have any password protection on it. I have unplugged the USB from computer and the phone, reconnected and clicked retry and it continues to give me the same message 45 minutes later. I am freaking out a bit because it cleared all my contacts off and I believe the process it is trying to do is to restore that information.
I cannot find the equivalent of the enter button on the on-screen keyboard. Where is it? I always have to slide the physical keyboard open to press enter. It gets kind of annoying.

I recently upgraded my Nokia software to OVI 2, or whatever its called. I will admit, it does look a bit better than the previous version, seems a bit nicer to use, and I like the fact that music, syncing and updating, is all now done from the same application.
Its about time I didn't have to have 3 separate applications installed for my one cellphone.
But I am having problems.
1. I use my phone to connect to the web, and within the first few minutes I was notified that OVI 2 has stopped working, and needs to close etc. I mean, I hardly used the app, and it crashes just from connecting to the web!?
2. I did a software update for my E63, and halfway through the update, OVI threw up an error and said the device was disconnected. I was nowhere near the USB cable. Thankfully, the software update must have completed, because the phone restarted, and when I checked my software version it was up to 2.00.21.
3. So, I unplugged the phone, plugged it back in to restore my contacts, etc. which worked fine, except I don't have any contacts. Why did the calender entries restore, but not the contacts? Luckily, I have all my numbers saved on my SIM anyways, so I just copied them from there.
Did I do something wrong during the backup/restore?
4. As I write this now, I thought I'd plug my phone in, and just check if I could do the restore again, but the phone no longer comes up with that selection menu allowing me to select PC Suite. I decided to restart my phone.
It has now frozen on the screen where you enter your PIN.
I have changed my apple id and now I cant change it on my iphone so everytime I go to update my apps I cant and i cant purchase anything from the apps store
