Seems like it should be a simple task, but is a hoop jumping nightmare on the 1020. I simply want to email a photo to my printer (Epson Artisan 730), which only prints pdf attachments (jpgs do not print with epson email connect). I've downloaded several apps that promise to be able to create a pdf from a jpg image file and then mail it, but none seem to deliver on that promise.
EDIT: Now have jpeg printing working via email. Problem was paper source and size. Unfortunately can only use 4x6 default size for photos. Still need pdf printing from the main paper cassette to get larger prints.
How can i save adobe reader file from my gmail into my adobe reader application. or is there any other way i can save it into my phone so I'm able to open in any situation not just from my gmail???

The 3rd email account that I am trying to set-up is a Godaddy hosted account (1 of the other 2 accounts I have set-up successfully set-up is also with Godaddy - - it is an "Exchange" hosted account whereas the one I am having problems with is a "pop' account).
The steps I am following include:
Go to "Internet Mail Account" Click on "set up another email account" Click on "other" Enter my Email address and password, and hit "Continue"
The message returns saying that "your device had a problem connecting to the server"?
I have called Godaddy and they referenced particular port settings but I cannot find anywhere in the "set-up" menu that I can set the ports. They also recommended contacting BB...
After many, many tries on my BB device, checking and rechecking my account settings on Godaddy and my Outlook client settings...I just cannot get this to work.

To maneuver around this problem I simply forward all my emails from my University account to my Gmail which I can receive on my blackberry. View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to find a way to create a password protected file that I can use on my iphone and ipad for sensitive information. I've tried the password protection on Pages for mac, but once the file is opened in Pages on IOS, there's no way to close it.So, now I think I have a solution by creating a pdf file and adding a password to it, using Preview on mac.
1. create a file using textedit, and Export to pdf.
2. open that pdf in Preview and Export to pdf, with a password.
3. add this encrypted file to the iTunes library.
4. sync the iphone / ipad
5. use iBooks on the IOS to open the file. It will ask for the password. To close, the file, quit the iBooks App.
It looks like this meets my needs. BTW, if you're using windows instead of the mac, you can install libreoffice and use it to create the password protected pdf, then just add it to iTunes and sync the iphone. So, my question is for those who know the inner workings of the mac and IOS, and is whether this is actually secure or is this file crackable?

I have got myself the new bold 9900 and I really like it. However, I am not able to attach FIles and Videos while sending emails; I only get 2 options when I press the attach button while I am compising emails which are pictures and contacts. I also have a friend of mine who gets the attach file option on his emails.
I have tried everything, from rebooting the device, to wiping out the memory, to uninstalling the software completely but my problem remained.
I do get a long list of options while I am sending a text or BBM message.
I have recently had to wipe my Torch 9800 and I am in the process of setting everything up again.When i go to set up my email accounts eg. *@msn.com it asks me to type my password and click verify to activate my email account on my phone however after i click verify it says "Sorry, unable to continue your session.

I am not able to receive any file via Bluetooth if that file is not openable by Nokia. ie., if I receive a jpg or mp3 file, it receives fine, and when I open it from Messages, it tries to open it, and then I save it from the Message to the Gallery.But when I try to receive some other type of files which is not supported by the mobile, it receives the message, but it fails to open the bluetooth message and as a result, I am not able to save it to the Mass Memory.
