BB Apps :: World App Gets Me Stuck
Jan 23, 2010Sometimes, when I press the trackpad to go into Blackberry World App, it freezes. Does this happen to you guys?

BB (RIM) :: Installed Apps Not In My World In App World

A while back I updated my phone. So I backed up and restored my applications so I didn't lose the few I paid for. The other day I got a notification for an update for one of the applications I downloaded after the update. That got me thinking - since none of my other apps are in the "My World" section of the App World, I haven't been - and won't be - getting any updates for those applications. Is there any way I can add those applications to "My World" so I can get notifications for updates and stuff?
Curve :: Cannot Download Apps From BB Apps World
May 23, 2011I have a BB Curve 8520 for 2 weeks now and I still cannot download apps.At first, I had the 4.6 version and I couldn't find BB apps world on my BB so I uprgraded it (5v).Now I have BB apps world I have the possibility to download apps but it doesn't work! Every time I get the same message "Cannot download apps from Blackberry app world...".

Feb 25, 2010On my Tour the BB App World Icon shows that I have upgrades available for some of my apps. When I open App World and click on the apps and select upgrade I get "<app name> is not available for download from app world" The three apps are Monopoly, WeatherBug Elite, and Quickpull Free which are all supported by app world.

Jun 19, 2010i have been using bb app world and other apps since the time i started bb few years back. but few months back the bb app world and some other apps stooped working. the bb app world doesnt appear anywhere in the bb despite complete successful installation. the other apps dont open. instead i get a pop up message which says 'error starting' or 'error loading' or 'verify error'. even the upgraded version of any app if installed anytime from the time problem started doesn't open.can anyone tell me what exactly is the problem with my bb as it was working well few months back. how do i rectify this so that i can once again start using the bb app world as well as start using some of the apps that are not opening now.

Sep 4, 2011My BB was hang for a day last week so, I returned to the shop for service and 3 days later they msn me and told me that I will have a new phone for replacement. I thought all the problem I had before should be resolved but it didnt!!
1) I had problem with browser before and this "new phone" have the same problem!! (I dont think they replace a new phone for me - i think they only replace the casing )Error message: HTTP Error 400: Bad Request - the server could not understand the page request, or was unable to process it for some reason . I have received messages stating a couple apps including App World have updates ready to download.I tap on the link to update App World, Im greeted with the There is a newer version available 3.0.0.xx Tapping update gives me the green circle working prompt with a network activity icon, then disappears and nothing happens. Checking the App status, app world is listed as version 2.x.x, so clearly it is not updating. The device is logged into the BB account, and the terms and conditions has been accepted.I have tried downloading the app world update, and also facebook and BBM updates, on both my wireless carrier network and my home WiFi, with the same green working circle, and then nothing.

It takes like 2 minutes to authenticate my sign in info and it says it can't do it and has to close app world because an error occured.
