BB Software :: Can't Update Apps Because Its World Won't Work

I have like 8 app updates but I can't update them because app world isn't letting me sign in. It takes like 2 minutes to authenticate my sign in info and it says it can't do it and has to close app world because an error occured. AND I can't update app world or even connect my blackberry to my computer because I can't download/install the desktop manager.
i enter my email and password give me an error i try to change my password i get an error. when i tell it i forgot my passwrod i get an error ..this has gone on for months ...support appears to be zero..
I would just like to first say I checked out the similar topics generated before I posted this and also attempted a few searches.I'm a new Blackberry user with my first device as the Verizon Storm 2. I love having a Blackberry, it makes everything a lot easier. I don't think I would buy any other phone besides a Blackberry now after owning this one.
I do have one problem that I can't seem to solve even after searching both this site and Google. None of the solutions seem to be working.
I have two apps from App World, Fingerprint Scanner & Pattern Lock, both that have Upgrades Available. For the life of me however I can't seem to get them to update. The most common error I get when trying is "app name is not available for download from App World". Which I have checked and they are available in App World. I also get "General Socket Error" a lot.
I have tried doing numerous battery pulls. I have tried with both Wi-Fi on and off at home. I have tried other Wi-Fi like at restaurants. I have tried doing device resets from MeterBerry. I have tried re-installing App World once with no luck. I'm not sure what else there is to try?
I'm running a Verizon Wireless Blackberry Storm 2 with the OS it shipped on (.320). I have not tried any of the updated OS. Would that fix this and how simple of a task is that for a new(3-4 month old) Blackberry user? Are there any other suggestions?
I now go to the my world section of appworld and it says no downloads. I am very unhappy about that. Thankfully I was able to find most of the apps I downloaded in the download folder, but one of them reset and I don't have the activation code or the record that I bought that particular app since my world has no record of it.

A while back I updated my phone. So I backed up and restored my applications so I didn't lose the few I paid for. The other day I got a notification for an update for one of the applications I downloaded after the update. That got me thinking - since none of my other apps are in the "My World" section of the App World, I haven't been - and won't be - getting any updates for those applications. Is there any way I can add those applications to "My World" so I can get notifications for updates and stuff?
I initially tred to update my phone from Win XP and it failed with error - "Unable to install or start phone software update components". I then retried from Mac and it was updated successfully. However, after update hard keyboard has stopped working with apps.
I have tried to repair it from my XP (since in Mac Bridge I did not find the option for repair) and it failed again with the above error.
Java apps don't work after I updated software to V 07.20. Snaptu gives the following error message: Class not found java/lang/ClassNotFoundExceptioncom/moblica/client/ClientMain
I have a BB Curve 8520 for 2 weeks now and I still cannot download apps.At first, I had the 4.6 version and I couldn't find BB apps world on my BB so I uprgraded it (5v).Now I have BB apps world I have the possibility to download apps but it doesn't work! Every time I get the same message "Cannot download apps from Blackberry app world...".
My app world is not working.it is like stuck when i click on the App world.I am using a BES+BIS account and there is no restriction to open app world on BES.My app world used to work perfectly fine.Once after i wiped date and reconfigured my BES it worked for some time and this issue started.Now also if i am not using BES and try use appworld on a fresh or wiped BB,it works fine.As soon as i configure BES it works for some time and then this issue starts...My BB Team even deleted my BB BES account and created a new one,still this happens.
To add to the issue..i had the issue of battery draining when i activate my BES with 3 different device..when my account was deleted and a new one was created,the battery draining issue was solved(seems like some corrupt database,havenot got any credible reason from anyone)...
I have the new Blackberry Curve 9360, when i first got it, apps would download fine. But now, when i open the app world, when i click on"download" it says "please wait" but doesn't do anything? And when i try to go into "My app world" it does the same thing, my app world will not upgrade either.
I recently upgraded my Bold 9700 from OS 5 to 6. I managed to resolve most of the issues associated with the upgrade, but one that I'm still struggling with is the App World. When I go to My World it keeps saying that I need a Blackberry Identity upgrade. I did install it yesterday, or that's what it said yesterday, that is was installed succesfully. But now it asks the same questions agin. I had a lot of trouble to install that. At first it did not want to install at all, but I read on another thread on this forum that I should change the TCP/IP settings APN type to Internet. The error I got then was 80003. The solution seemed to work because the installation completed. but now it asks again to update the identity.
I've been using BBerry for a while. Not new.After the last 'upgrade' to Blackberry App World I couldn't use it anymore.When it's installed there is no icon. When removed the icon appears.When I click on icon it directs me to download App World. And the cycle starts over again.Curve 8530. Sprint.v5.0.0.459..No it's not hidden. The version 3.1.1.21 for the BlackBerry App World is not working for my BlackBerry Pearlâ„¢ 3G 9105. The problem is that I cannnot fully access to the app, because it frozes! Furthermore (and consequently I think) my network does not work anymore. I mean that the browser web is ok (and I can surf, even if at low speed), but all the applications do not work properly. And even when I am trying to download the official app world (again) from the official site it won't work. To download 2MB it will take all night long! This is not possible. Another example: the maps are not working anymore and the roads appear after a long time. It is not a problem of the mobile carrier!!! What should I do? I am desperate because I cannot use my phone anymore! I also tried to return to the previous version of the app but the problem hasn't disappeared yet!
I tried to re-install the software (v. 6.0.0.668) but had the same problem. Then tried again and deleted the file "Device" from C/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader (not the "vendor" file because it does not exist). But anything happened! Thought it would have re-installed the previous version of the App World but it did not! I am really desperate because I do not know what to do.
Have had the Bold for a couple yrs. Was missing App World icon for a while, then upgraded to the latest OS. Had the icon back for about a week, then it disappeared again. Battery pull doesn't help.The camera stopped working before the OS upgrade, and still doesn't work even after that. When I try to open it, I see the controls at the bottom of the screen for a while, it sits for a few minutes, then I get an error message "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again." This happens even when I've closed everything else. Battery pull doesn't help this either.Tried the Device Self Test & the camera failed.
When i go on my browser it says network error try again later and it never works i keep trying and it wont work & twitter & facebook & bbm all work it really annoying i wanna be able to use my browserM my app world was working but now when i click on it it stays on the loading page forevr and nothing comes up no matter how long i leave it on the app
I bought the device one year ago and had no problem with app world until about last month, when i was asked to update the app world application with the newest version.After I installed the new version, the application can not work at all.Everytime i open the application there's always a pop up box with this text :Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again.
I haven't had my 9900 that long but the app world doesn't work. And although my bbm worked yesterday afternoon, it is now not working again this morning.
i've been searching all over for a proper link for the storm version of weatherbug. i found weatherbug "direct". don't want that. also don't want to install app world (don't ask why).i gave up. i installed weathereye instead. don't like it as much but at least it's a weather app.
I have paid apps that are indicating there are updates available in the App World store. When I try to download the update I get the following message "[program name] not available for download from app world". Has anyone else had this problem? If so how do/did you fix it. I'm on att v5.0.0.405.
Here's an anomaly for ya. Whenever I browse the BlackBerry app catalog via my computer and click the "get this app" link, I get the email with the link attached no problem. Then I click on the link which prompts the Bberry browser. However, when I go to click the link that says "open in BlackBerry App World", the loading bar will appear on the bottom of the browser for a second and then....nothing happens.
So I checked all my permissions for the browser to ensure that everything is checked off (which it is). So I'm pretty sure that nothing is being inadvertantly blocked.
Just got the new 9700 and everything works except the app world. Personal email works, blackberry messenger works, just not the app world. I downloaded it and i get an error message which is as follows (upgrade your service to a plan that includes browsing and discover a world of possibilties at BlackBerry App World. Contact your service provider for more details). I have the blackberry personal plan, I can browse the internet, but the app world still wont work. I know its not a location issue because my coworker has the Bold 9000 and the same plan as me and his works fine. I have also tried unistalling and reinstalling the app, hard shock etc etc. So what the heck is the issue.
I tried updating my facebook to the latest version and when it is finish downloading and done the reboot<br>It is still the old version,I tried it so many times and done also the pulling off the<br>Battery and then delete and install it again but stil it did not upgrade.<br>And also my bb app world can't upgrade also to the latest. Version,<br>It is so very annoying seeing my friends facebook and app world upgraded<br>But mine is the old one.
