View 5 Replies View RelatedMy BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. I'm unable to access Blackberry protect and 'my world' in Blackberry App World, or do anything that involves using my BB ID on my phone

I am using BB 8520 Curve with the default external memory (2 Gb). I have music files (*.mp3, *.wma) as well as picture files (captured through the device itself).What happens is, from time to time I am unable to access the media card content. If I go to music, I can see the entries if I go to any of the menu filters, All Songs/Artists/Albums/Genres .. etc. But when I click on the song itself, the music player opens with a message "This playlist contains no valid songs". Also, during this time, my device rings with the default tunes on a call, even if I have set custom profile ring tones.Similarly, if I go to Media->Pictures, I can see a thumbnail preview of the photos, however on trying to open a file it just presents me with a black screen. The contact picture or the desktop custom wallpaper, however is rendered as expected.If I reboot my device by taking off the battery, things get working again.I am experiencing this issue quite frequently, almost every day. I tried to find out a trend for the behaviour, however could not make any such consistent observations.Does anyone in the forum has faced similar issue? Any inputs would be highly appreciated. This is really being a disturbing trait with my otherwise so cool BB.

When I use the d/l from computer method, it mentions that my device's is not supported and does not meet system requirements! I've also tried to d/l it from my phone but to no avail as the page cannot be proceed.
I'm having a problem when trying to update my Nokia 5230 using the Nokia Suite.Please note; my phone is plugged in, there is an update for my phone as the last time it was updated was when it made manufactured (nov 09). The USB mode is on 'PC suite'. I have downloaded all the latest versions of the Nokia Suite.
When I click 'Update Phone Software", it takes me to the updater. When it comes to the 'Searching for a connected device', it hands for about 1-2 minutes, then says "Unable to find device".
I downloaded and set up ID and password for app world earlier today, when I put in ID and password it says its authenticating but then a message comes up saying an error has occured please try later.

So I've created an id via computer using my email and password. Able to log in on computer using these. When I have tried using my handset i get the message "Unable to validate the email address and password". Was on the phone to three uk for several hours yesterday and no joy.

For additional info, this is my fifth BlackBerry and this is also first time i encounter this problem as when i switch to new BlackBerry, there is no such problem as i using the Blackberry desktop to update and transfer all the old data to new data, now the blackberry protect keep popping up and request me to log in, however everytime i log in the message unable to log into your BlackBerry ID account appear and unable to proceed. I have log into Blackberry via email (laptop) there is no problem.

When I got to the download page I did everything (authenticating, etc.) as per usual.The download began but then I received a message saying "FaceBook not available from AppWorld". I figured it could be a site problem so I forgot about it but when I tried it again this week same message. I am completely unable to download any apps or updates from AppWorld (I can from third part sites but that's all).Have done the removing battery and reinstalling thing but...no dice. View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen i attempt to download anything, such as a facebook update, i am requested to log in. so i enter my email and password but instead of the page returning and automatically starting the download as before it simply shows me my log in information page; my email, and whether i want to change my password or question.if i go back it returns to the same page where i can select download and the process repeats itself. <cycle of death!> if i hit the BB button i have the option to 'save' and changes to my log in info (even tho i made no changes) if i select 'save' the page just stays where it is. my other options are 'help' wh takes me online, 'see featured view' which takes me to appworld home or 'close'. none of these options allow me to actually get what i wanted to download in the first place and there is still the annoying symbol which tells me that i have 2 updates waiting.

I have had a new blackberry email set up by Orange and it allows me to sign in on my desktop but not via my phone, i just get the error message "unable to log into blackberry app world" .. ive tried reseting the password, even downloading apps via the computer but nothing works.
