Went to "MY WORLD" and tries to log in to retrieve my purchased apps as I've done tons of times before. It 1st says please wait retrieving then. Unable to authenticate user at this time. please try again later. It's said this all day. The user and password are def. correct.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI received a notification of a BB Appworld update a few days ago and tried installing OTA and for some reason it failed. Since then the AppWorld Icon has disappeared. I tried "Show all" and such to see if it got hidden but no such luck. Have tried battery pulls and deleting and re-downloading the app to no avail. Even though the icon is not showing my Application list shows it as an installed app, what gives?

I thought I had to do this once before when everything went away on my old BB.+++

i have been back and forth pretty much DAILY with VZW...
My phone seems to drop signal left and right... it will show full then none then full... it goes up and down all the time no matter where i am...
VZW has given me 3 phones, a new phone # hoping that will solve the issue... NOTHING IS WORKING!!
they have had 3 different troblue tickets opened and said there was a tower issue by my house! what a crock of **** that was...
3 BB in the house 2 Storm2's 1 tour and a VZW Mobile broadband card and my phone is the only one with this issue...
now i have my 4th phone on the way since November...
i never had a problem with my curve like this..
this issue is causing my battery to drain form 4%-25% hour... (depends on the day)
I have done full wipes and restores, full wipes and manual Restores, Upgrading OS's, *228, new phone #, New phones.... i am getting frustrated because i am missing alot of calls and some days i cant even use my phone...
they also have yet another trouble ticket opened... lets see how this goes...
Is there a way to select more than one picture and delete them all. It is a real pain to delete one at a time.

One thing I have to ask is I noticed my battery isnt as good as my old phone, I was searching around and noticed some people switch from Global to 1XEV, what exactly is the diffrence, I switched mine but havent had a chance to see what the diffrence is. I did notice that sometimes under my signal bars that it said 1X, then went to 3G, then i caught it earlier saying searching for CDMA(i think thats what it said"not sure").

View 8 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is a result of OS .607, but every time I get a notification, either an SMS, MMS, FB notification, etc, and I remove the device from my magnetic holster, the thing stays frozen for about 30 seconds before it allows me to put in my code and unlock the phone (btw, I use pattern lock). As I said, I don't know if its because of OS .607, but it has been happening a lot lately. It also does not flip around which also tells me that the device is frozen for a short time before I am able to put in my swipe code... or see the screen flip

View 4 Replies View RelatedDidn't know where else to put this, since Idk if it's a 9550 only thing or all BB's, but when I receive a text message I like to know when I received it, or how long ago. But whenever I tap the received message it always says received one minute ago, unless it was on an earlier date. But, if I get a text at 8am and check it at noon, then tap on it, it says received one minute ago. Any way to fix this?

Now my laptop is still set to cali time but why would it change my phone? I tried a reset and *228 but its still on california time.
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy Storm II about a week ago started doing this Updating Time Zone. When it does it, it does it about every three minutes, switching to another time zone and then coming back to the one it belongs in. This is getting frustrating as it messes up my calendar and I keep getting these meeting notices. I have removed the battery and that has not helped. At first I thought it was when I was in areas with bad coverage but today it was doing it while in Minneapolis Minnesota. Anyone else having this trouble and what did you do? I have updated the Roaming and it still does it.

Calendar takes ~5 seconds to load. Upon loading, another ~5 seconds till it will respond to any activity. I have it default to Agenda view, as I always have. Prior to v5.0.0.607 this was NEVER an issue.
Work-around:
If I turn "show free time" to ON, then it works perfect. Loads instantly, scrolls instantly, etc. However, turned OFF, it reverts to issue above.Problem is that I really don't want to show the free time on my view. Whom else has this issue, anyone? Does anyone know how to resolve this?
So I was updating via Desktop Manager on a mac. Mid upgrade I got a message on the computer- "software upgrade failed"
On the blackberry I got a message I've never seen before-"Reload Software 507" and it has a weird icon with a circle and line through it.
I'm afraid to do anything! What do i do, HELP!!! Edit: Now it keeps shutting off, rebooting itself, and then the same error message appears. Meanwhile, the mac is still trying to update the storm2. Its a vicious circle of death!
Lately I have been getting an error message when I select a movie to play on my storm 2 - it reads:
Uncaught exception: application net_rim_bb_medialibrary(341) is not responding ; process terminated
I bought DynoStorm and installed it on my Storm2 (9550) running OS v5.0.0.713. The app installed and all the permissions are set to "allow" except for "security timer reset" which is set to "deny" and locked out by our company's security policies (BES).The app launches but when I go to make changes to the settings, I get:
Fatal error saving log data : net.rim.device.api.io.file.FileIOException: Media Card is secured by another device. Unable to access encrypted file. <OK>
Due to our company policies, my device memory is encrypted though my media card is not. I also tried inserting a different 16GB MicroSD card and having the OS format the card. I still get the same error.
I just got my Storm 2 this afternoon (I had a Storm 1 for 1-1/2 years). After I restored my files from Desktop Manager I went to Application Loader to see what I wanted to take off or put on. I removed all the foreign language stuff and added a few items. When I clicked next I got an error message saying there was not enough memory in my device. This is crazy since I have 117 MB of free application memory. I am using Desktop Manager v. 4.7 that worked fine for my Storm 1. Do I have to use v5 for the Storm 2, or is it some other problem.
View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I upgraded to .607 today via OTA and when I try to change my ringtone it says invalid ringtone make another selection. The crazy thing is it does it even when I select a ringtone that came on the device. It does it with all of them. Even when I hit try at the bottom it says the same thing and when I get a call it rings the generic old style ring. Has anybody had this issue or anyone know how to fix it?

I have done several battery pulls but I am unable to see my homescreen. Nothing I do loads up my homescreen. If I was to navigate I need to hold down the BB key or press the green button to make a call. Also I can not bring up any icons at all.
View 4 Replies View Relatedjust got my storm 2 and I'm trying to figure out how to enable key tones like the ones below in the two videos. I go to options, keyboard settings, and turn key tone to "on" and save, yet all that seems to do is enable a beep sound for the bottom four buttons: call, blackberry menu, back, and the end button. When I click on things in the menu, or type an sms, I get no sound other than the mechanical click. The beep I'm hearing for the bottom four buttons is also nothing like the ones in the videos below. I'm running version 5.0.0.607. I also tried a battery pull which didn't work. Thanks to anyone who can help me solve this problem!
