Am using curve 8520, I can't find black app world and I try to download it, I was told my system does not meet the minimum requirement and also I try login in with my form I'd getting to the app world to download my applications back I was told unknown device.I need the blackberry app world back on my phone?
View 1 RepliesYesterday I had got a notification to update appworld on my blackberry torch 9800.While doing so the app wasn't there anymore on my homepage though it had been installed according to the application manager in tools.I tried downloading it again and again and rebooted my device many times but it's still now there on the homepage?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. I'm unable to access Blackberry protect and 'my world' in Blackberry App World, or do anything that involves using my BB ID on my phone

I tried upgrading it again, reboot, then it's still not there.I also tried deleting it in the application management, then download it again, reboot, and it still didn't work.I can't upgrade any application in my phone right now.

I recently downloaded a new theme from BB app world, but I can't seem to find it. It says it is installed on my phone, but I cannot change my theme to it. When I go to display (under options) it does not give me the option to change my theme.

I believe that it has been stopped behind some firewall, as when I try to open it from wireless network I can open it smoothly but only when I try to open it from my blackberry service it cud'nt open.I had no prb with my previous version when it was working on my phn smoothly but only it was a latset update I updated and it had this problem.

Doesn't matter which website it is. Very sporadic. Will load one minute, then when requesting a moment later will show above display. Very unreliable to a point of being useless. Have tried everything online and no resolution.

I can connect to my WiFi -- it shows as connected, strong connection etc. But when I try to go to any site on my browser I get "Unable to find the requested server. This is on my home wifi. But my laptop and WiFi are still fine so it's only on my phone. However, I discovered I am able to connect to other wifis - just not the one at home. The problem originated right when I was downloading some software upgrades. I wasn't really paying much attention to what I was doing and I'm not even sure how I got into downloading these upgrades because I'd never done that before. Anyway, one of the downloads seemed to have got stuck mid-way through downloading.

Since trying to make the switch I can't find the icon for bb app world. I've wiped the phone, restored it, battery pulls but it's still not showing. However only today I realized that I cannot find BBM or App World. I have done almost everything I can. Click the Show All option, did a battery pull, shut off the phone and started it back. searched the phone for it, clicked switch application to see if it was open there. So I've created an id via computer using my email and password. Able to log in on computer using these. When I have tried using my handset i get the message "Unable to validate the email address and password". Was on the phone to three uk for several hours yesterday and no joy.
