View 3 RepliesI recently downloaded the new update for my Blackberry Tour, and I have noticed that my phone is not remembering its settings (im assuming). When I have my phone holstered, it only vibrates twice and does not ring (though I have it set to Always for the ringtone) for my MMS/SMS messages. When its out of holster, it will only do the default text messing sound. I am not sure how to fix this though I have rebooted it twice in attempts for the settings.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Tour has stopped giving me audible alerts when it is in the holster regardless of how I have the settings configured. Pulling the battery doesn't help. I have no custom profiles set up. I'm at a loss on this one. I've seen lots of older threads on this but nothing recent so I'm hoping that maybe there is now a fix. Any suggestions?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got the 9360 Curve and the store sold me a the 9760 holster for the Bold and my phone does not turn off when I put it in the holster. The website says the 9370 holster is the one for this phone, are the holsters phone specific?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy boss has a BB Curve 8530 and she wants to set it up to vibrate only in holster and ring outside of holster. Is this an option I can set up in Profiles? If so, do i have to adjust this option for every sound (i.e. MMS, e-mail, alerts, etc)?Or there an easy way to adjust these settings? I'm not very familiar with the BBs so please be gentle.
View 4 Replies View RelatedScreen won't turn on after cleaning trackball.I must have disconnected or broke something when I took it apart?I looked through it for obvious issues but didn't find anything. My tour will turn on, red led for a few seconds, then keys light up and functions fine just the screen stays black.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently switched from a Bold 9000 to a new Torch 9800 with the new OS 6.0. On my Bold I could set one ringtone for In Holster @ one volume and a different ringtone @ a different volume for Out Of Holster within the same profile. So far this seems impossible with the new operating system. Seems I can only set one ringtone and one vibrate for each profile. Am I missing something?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI see a lot of publicity pics of the Tour with the bridge splash screen shown, thought I'd like it for a background pic...(My splash screen is the Verizon check from the "Verizon Zen" theme).I have a custom background pic for my Tour, several actually, but was wondering how to get the bridge pic from the "Precision Zen" theme so I could use it as a background pic..Also - Is it possible to "save" and restore a loaded ROM theme??? Like, if I had the AT&T or T-Mobile "Zen" theme, could I load it into my Verizon Tour??? And if I could find a like-minded soul who wanted to swap Tour themes (Verizon, Rogers, T-Mobile, AT&T, etc), how would I swap or add a branded theme?
Just to see the bug-eyed look on my VWZ store tech the next time I pull out my VWZ Tour and ask her a question.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't turn off my alarm on my blackberry. I don't think i turned it on, the alarm symbol just showed up next to my clock. I don't used it, so i was confused. This is a picture of what the alarm looks like:
Ive never seen that symbol before. I turn on the daily alarm, it doesn't turn on it just stays the same. Turn it to off, it won't go away. I tried everything i could think of including taking out the battery. it will NOT go away! its going to drive me crazy if my phone goes off at 3 pm every day!
My friend somehow set this alarm on her BB so it goes off ever day but I can't seem to find where to turn it off. It shows up on the screen when in the clock and it looks like a phone (on the bottom right side when in clock mode). Its not the same as the usual clock alarm which looks like a clock . Can't figure out where to turn this thing off at and its driving us nuts!

Is there any way I can turn off the dial tones for when I am dialing a phone #? Sounds are off for my keypad otherwise (txt, browser, etc). I don't like my keys beeping at me! Especially the beepboopblurrp when I hold 1 to dial my voicemail. Can this be turned off?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a 9630. I check my emails on a daily on a basis on the computer, but the icon still shows them as unread on my BlackBerry, which in turn leaves the yellow envelope/red asterisk on my home screen. I'm sure others have had this question before, but I did a few searches on CB and google to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
View 10 Replies View RelatedMy Tour will not turn on after about 2 weeks of inactivity. The battery was stored in it at appx 40% (I realize this was probably a mistake...). When plugged into the charger, the red light goes on for appx 10 secs, then turns off (whether battery is in or out). Several battery pulls have not made a difference. Phone has been plugged in for over an hour now, with no result. Tried putting the battery in with the phone plugged/unplugged. Plugging phone into PC USB tries to install the drivers (so it's def not fried)

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bought the Bose Bluetooth Series 2 headset and connected it to my Tour 9630. But there is one BIG issue: when I get a call and turn my bluetooth on, the phone shuts off and reboots.I use Sprint PCS as my carrier and my OS is version 5.My phone is sitting on my desk so a static electric charge is not causing this. On screen, I see the incoming call noticification (the usual with caller ID) and when I turn on my Bose Bluetooth, I see the popup window that tells me my Bluetooth is connected, then the screen goes blank because the phone shuts down and reboots. This is my third Bluetooth earpiece but the first on that causes the reboot. By the way, if I leave the headset turned on, everything works fine--I can answer the phone with no reboots. However, this will kill the battery in the headset as well as my phone as it keeps the bluetooth connection.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOk so I use the auto on/off feature, and recently i have noticed that after my phone turns off for the night, if there is a event on my calendar where the alarm would go off during the time that the phone is off it will turn itself back on and let the alarm go off. Is this normal, or is something wrong?

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe small clock kept showing up in the middle of the screen on my blackberry. A vzw rep told me sometimes I need to reboot my blackberry because its like a computer. So, I took the battery out and put it back in to reboot it and it won't come on. A white blank background will show up with the small clock in the middle. Then the screen will go black with the small clock in the middle and the red light blinking.
