I have a blackberry 9630 phone but I did not receive any incoming call alert when I was already in another call. In my phone option there is "notify me during calls" option is not available .

View 5 Replies View RelatedI use a curve 9360 phone with a default carrier of T mobile which I had to jailbreak to use my local network. But since then the only available network mode is 2G and '3G & 2G'. I don't av d 3G only option even though my OS is 7.1. And I have people around me using the same model but have the option on theirs. what can I do to change to & remain on 3G only.

I recently upgraded to a BB 9360 and am with Vodacom in South Africa.First thing I did upon receiving the phone was set it up nicely and then WANT to change the Mobile Network options for Network mode from 3G to 2G only but alas, the only options open to me are 3G & 2G or 3G.Now, I'm a paramedic in South Africa and my 9780 Bold's battery lasts an entire shift (12 hours!) but that's with the 2G ONLY option.So obviously I'd like to have this feature back on my 9360!!!I can't afford to go out and buy new batteries!

View 9 Replies View RelatedI want to setup email connection. On this 9360 I do not have any Connection Assistant so I use "setup" mode and "mail accounts" options. Usually (as on my previous Curve 8520) I used to have two options when entering there :
- Use my own email address (personal address) or create a new one
- Use my Enterprise email address
But when I launch Email setup on my curve 9360, I have only the Enterprise option so that I Cannot setup email! My 9360 runs under OS 7.
How do I get I get rid of or delete all the unused or unwanted Icons on my phone? All of these are just taking up space and are not apps downloaded on my phone.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am using a Blackberry Curve 9360 Smartphone.Hope you can help me, I have inadvertently ticked the "All Alerts Off" option instead of the "Silent" option.The phone rejects my attemps to change it back to All Alerts on, with a reply "Alerts Off cannot be editted or deleted"There's a red tick mark next to the icon, and the icon is also highlighted in red.The "Normal" option is ticked at the moment but the "All Alerts Off" option remains the same.Incoming calls go straight to voicemail without a ringing alert, and a sms informs me of a missed call.

The same occurs when I select SMS, it also goes immediately to missed calls. What should I do? View 3 Replies View RelatedMy curve 9360 stops receiving calls every couple of days. I didn't know this until my wife called me on my other phone asking why she could not call me on my BB. When I checked the BB, the signal was full strength. And I could call out without any problems. After I made a call from the BB, it started to receive calls normally. It still receive emails though.

View 6 Replies View RelatedBluetooth radio is turned on. I've discovered my device but the Desktop software only has the option to connect by USB. Ver 5.0. During installation there is no option to choose what type of connection you want. I see there are options to choose between USB and Bluetooth or both, however they are grayed out. I have a successful USB connection. Everything works fine but I want to go wireless.
Running on Toshiba Sattelite laptop with Vista 32bit ultimate OS
Toshiba Bluetooth stack is turned on but it's Toshiba's - not microsoft (don't know if that matters)
Device is found and paired. I have this same problem on 2 computers running different OS, my laptop has Vista ( a Toshiba) & my desktop has XP (HP). I don't get it as I have tried every configuration I can think of. It can SEE the BB but no option to enable bluetooth, only none or USB. I'm assuming it may be the BB os 5.0?
My bluetooth is not active although I have the option to enable. What can I do?

I get that I need to say, "Siri, remind me to do something when I get home", and that "Home" needs to be identified in my contacts.
When I do the above Siri replies with, "I will remind you to do something when you arrive at that location."Problem is, she never reminds me.Then, I get blamed for not remembering. Women right? Go figure.I have location services enabled and when I ask, "Where am I know" I get my current location.how can I get her to step up and remind me when I get to where I'm going.(or leave from someplace for that matter)?

I understand the steps to generate and auto signature - Go to email, click menu/options/email settings/auto signature ON, and type in your signature. However when I click on Email Settings there is no option for Auto Signature. The only options are:
Enable HTML email yes/no
Download Images Automatically yes/no
Confirm Delivery yes/no
Confirm Read yes/no
Send Read Receipts yes/no
There is no mention of auto signature.
I downloaded the file but my blackberry manager doesnt give me the option to download the 5.0 just gives me the 4.7 one.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got my new 5800 xm and updated it to the latest firmware only because when I lock the phone keypad and when a new message arrives the LCD does not brightens up the phone gives only the notification sound and the led blinks and when the phone is not locked then the LCD brightens too and the sound is also heard and the phone vibrates too I had gone through the entire phone kindly tell if is there any way that we can turn on the backlight display too on when the new message or email arrives or is this the normal behavior of 5800 xm?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI’m having a problem with pc suite, it doesn’t notify me on the pc when I receive SMS, I have to click on the icon to make it display the SMS ( the notification popup doesn't display on the taskbar , but when receiving phone calls, it works fine ... )I checked on the setting and everything is configured correctly
Also tried removing and reinstalling pc suite but didn’t work .I remember it working fine some time ago, but haven’t used pc suite for a while and it's not working correctly now. I connected the phone via bluetooth, but tried USB cable too .using windows 7, and the latest version of pc suite.
