BB Curve :: 9360 Stops Receiving Calls Every Couple Of Days?
Aug 20, 2012
My curve 9360 stops receiving calls every couple of days. I didn't know this until my wife called me on my other phone asking why she could not call me on my BB. When I checked the BB, the signal was full strength. And I could call out without any problems. After I made a call from the BB, it started to receive calls normally. It still receive emails though.
I've tried all over the Internet, my network provider and work colleagues but I'm have an annoying problem with my iPhone 3GS.
Out of all my contacts in my phone book everyone works ok apart from only 2! The 2 can receive my texts and my calls but the "Cannot" reply to me as if the call the get "Call Failed" and the texts send from their phone but I don't receive them.
I've deleted and re-entered the contacts (They have done the same)......I have done a "Complete Factory Reset" of my iPhone but the problem still persists with these 2 contacts only.
I have not blocked them..(Don't know how to) & I don't have any "Blocker Apps) on my phone but the problem still won't go away.
I got my Torch a little less than a year ago.The past couple of months, I have to do a battery pull every couple of days because it is freezing? There is no one app that seems to cause it to freeze, as I have had it happen on 5 different ones.Is this something that should be fixed?
I do not use my phone much and my W995 used to last of over a week on one charge. After a recent software update at the beginning of September 2010, my battery now only last a couple of days. Does anyone have any suggestions on why this might be?
For the past 2 days, I have been unable to receive any of my Outlook emails to my phone. I have 5 different email addresses that go to my phone and the only ones that are giving me problems are my 2 Outlook emails. I am able to send messages from them, but am not able to receive any. I am getting all of my messages in Outlook, so I think there is some kind of incoming server issue with Outlook and Blackberry. Here are the things that I have tried (with no success):1, I have tried to send my Service Books several times2. Tried deleting and recreating the email addresses on the phone.3. Tried several battery pulls for a rebootDDED INFO:Your carrier: T-MobileModel info and OS version (Go to Settings, then Options, then about): Blackberry 8900, v126.96.36.1990
My blackberry curve 9360 constantly has the data arrow in the top right hand corner flashing, even though I have not sent anything. The blackberry logo that is also normally there is disappearing and reappearing constantly as well.I am not able to send nor receive messages.I have tried rebooting and removing the battery several times, however this has not worked.
My Blackberry curve 9360 is new but not and then SMS text messages wont come through now they've just stopped al together. Ive checked the firewall and thats not on so they should be coming through. I can send texts but i cant receive them.
My E52 stops synchronising with Exchange after approx 10-14 days. Works perfectly for a while after initial sync, then after said period I just notice that sync of all objects (e-mail, contacts etc.) stops. No warnings, no error messages. All settings seem intact.
Only thing that works is a factory reset and setting everything up from scratch again.
I am using a Blackberry Curve 9360 Smartphone.Hope you can help me, I have inadvertently ticked the "All Alerts Off" option instead of the "Silent" option. The phone rejects my attemps to change it back to All Alerts on, with a reply "Alerts Off cannot be editted or deleted"There's a red tick mark next to the icon, and the icon is also highlighted in red.The "Normal" option is ticked at the moment but the "All Alerts Off" option remains the same.Incoming calls go straight to voicemail without a ringing alert, and a sms informs me of a missed call.
When I select the envelope icon for new e-mail messages, I got forwarded to the missed calls listing. The same occurs when I select SMS, it also goes immediately to missed calls. What should I do? Removing the batt when power on has been done already but no help.Is there somewhere a code to reset my device? Maybe another method without loosing my data, settings, and messages?
i just purchased a Verizon BB 8530 on Ebay. FCopied my local PRL file on it and got it configured on my local network (Mauritius).
I am unable to receive calls (NO NUMBER DISPLAYING) and my service provider asked me to contact blackberry as all their setting are ok. ARROW TOP RIGHT CORNER BLINKS when caller is ringing my number but no number displaying.
I can receive call only on call waiting. I can't even see the call waiting options to disablem it on my blackberry.
My Curve 8300 Randomly does NOT Ring when people call me.. or sometimes will not receive texts untill I make a call or something and when I hang up the inbox will have like 10 new messages that it I guess forgot to download untill I made a call. The big thing is though the ringing,, it will randomly not even ring when someone calls me.
The main reason i bought the phone. Was because of a virtually non existent signal on the Orange network.(dropping calls etc).Anyway. To cut a long story short. It will find UMA.But takes an age to lock on.And sometimes when making /receiving calls i get cut off and my router crashes (loses internet connection)! If i go into my wifi settings in my phone (wifi diagnostics). Under UMA it says 'UMA connection failed'.But no 'error' code!!
I have checked my router setings and everything seems ok as it does on my phone. But this morning i contacted AOL router support and they told me that it will not be the router but an issue with the phone!
While i am typing this.It has just found UMA (after approx 1 hour of trying) but if i make a call or receive one , i will more than likely be cut off.I forgot to mention that i have a 'speedtouch'(thompson) router. And am thinking of asking AOL for a 'Netgear'!Would this help?Although my laptop and xbox 360 run just fine via the speedtouch with no problems whatsoever
I want to use my blackberry as audio device when riding my bike. However i noticed that it just stops playing music when there is a new notification, once thats has been cleared, it just resumes playing. This is highly unusable 'cause the torch is somewhere in my jacket.
I saw that this was a common problem and i find it very unlicky that cracking my blackberry (which i bought for 800$) is the only solution to make it work like a 20$ mp3 player.
After two or three charges my new (up to date) Lumia 900 stops sending/receiving text messages. The map app also appears black at every zoom level. However LTE signal is fine, I can receive phone calls, and use data to search for near-by restaraunts and overlay results over the black tileless map. There is no visible indication that the phone is no longer sending/receiving txt messages.. other than an angry girlfriend.Once in a while I open up the map app to see if its loading tiles. If not, I reboot the phone and everything returns to normal for a few days, and then problem comes back. It has been this way since I bought the phone three weeks ago.
I've been getting an incredible amount of spam recently. So I've tried setting up filters on my BB Torch 9800. If I set up only two or three filters, it seems to work fine. But if I set up more than that, the BB just stops receiving all emails, not just the filtered ones. I've checked to see that I've clicked the right options. I'm not, apparently. So what's the trick to setting up lots of filters to kill of this wretched spam? In Outlook, of course, it's easy -- I can set up rules to stop the **bleep** reaching my in-box -- and I was hoping it was going to be similarly easy to do on the BB. But it isn'.
My 920I Galaxy S6 has stopped receiving calls, either if I am using the phone or it is locked I won't receive any call, I have to restart my phone to get the messages of missed calls and call them back. I tried many different modems, bootloader, roms and firmwares and nothing has worked. Also, I tried both on WIFI and 3G/4G and it doesn't work.
I've had an Xperia X10 Mini Pro for a while now. The last few months I have experienced that the phone stops recieving phone calls and SMS. The rest of the phone is still working and I can use apps and mobile internet so I do not notice myself that it has stoped working untill I try to make a phone call myself. The phone starts working again if I restart it (just a normal shut down and the turn it back on again). This works every time. Once restarted I normaly gets a lot of SMS's with messages on my voice mail etc.
So i've been using att for about two months now since switching from Verizon. Everything was fine at first but recently i would say within the past month i've been dropping calls and having problems with the data services. I'll be streaming slacker radio and all of a sudden it stops and i have to reboot to get it working again. The dropped calls thing is pretty much random. Im running 188.8.131.525.
Anyone else having this problem? I mean the whole surfing while talking thing is nice but if this keeps up im going to have to just bite the bullet pay the early term fee and switch back!
Phone was 18months old. Intermittent problem from 1 yr. Able to make/receive calls but other person not able to hear me. However voice recorder still working so not sure what's causing problem. Genius bar unable to help but person next to me with same age phone had identical problem. Tried all suggestions on message boards with no sucess.
