My bbm hasn't been working for a few days; whenever i try to send messages the tick comes up without the d (delivered) and whenever anyone tries to message me it comes up with a red cross.
View 1 RepliesSo I got my new Blackberry Curve 8530 two days ago with Virgin Mobile.I have the $35/month plan with UNLIMITED data, web, & text and 300 calling minutes.I love the phone but I've had a lot of issues with it:- When I download the Facebook app it says I don't have the data/service plan for it and I've even tried downloading the v1.6 via web instead of app world.- I tried to make a BIS account and it said it wasn't registered with the service and told me to do the whole host routing table thing and I did, I DID get the registration message and I tried to make a BIS again and it still doesn't work!- When I go to the Email Setup it only has the option for an enterprise account, and I want to use a personal account.- The blackberry maps isn't in any folders or on the homescreen but it is in the options>applications folder.* Also, the twitter app, Internet, and everything else work fine!I think that's all and I really want to know if you guys have any solutions and I really love this phone! I really want to know if it's a Virgin Mobile or Blackberry issue!

I can only get to those emails by selecting "View Folder", then "Inbox"...I can then see all my email. However, if I close the Messages then and reopen, it shows my email as of 3 days ago.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor the last 3 days 3G on my new iPhone 4 hasn't been working, until 10 minutes ago, I finally managed to get it working by changing the APN settings in cellular data network, from = idata.o2.co.uk, to = mobile.o2.co.uk, what it used to be, but doing this didn't only fix my 3G service it has also activated Internet tethering (which I don't pay for).
Would someone other people please try this to confirm it, come back and post your results
I jailbreaked my iPhone for a couple of months ago and ever since, my voicemail hasn't been working. I Can still Call my voicemail and check for messages, but no new messages, always the same. I tried calling my phone several times from a couple of my friends phones but my phone just keeps calling until i refuse the Call or until the caller hangs up. It wont transfer the caller to my voicemail :/ extremly annoying.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought a Nokia E72 two weeks back. Don't have much problems with it. Its a great phone. The only problem I see here is with battery life. Before the phone release it was said that the phone will have 11hr of battery back on call. I was expecting the battery to stand for 3+ days with normal usage, but I am really disappointed by nokia it hardly goes for 2+ days. Any one have any trick to make the battery stay longer or any way to handle the phone which will keep the battery well. The second problem I see with phone is the GPS does not seem to be working. But when I use some external application that uses GPS, it works. I am using google maps which works awesome.
I will keep posting for any new problem encountered. One more big question is that , when the new firmware will get released, how do we install it on phone, do we loose data on phone, do we loose any functionality? Can a firmware resolve the battery issue? I found a nice site where we have many free awesome softwares for nokia e71. www.getjar.com. Every possible software is available here. just set your phone model, and the site will have everything compatible to the phone. Nice web site, I really liked it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy curve 9360 stops receiving calls every couple of days. I didn't know this until my wife called me on my other phone asking why she could not call me on my BB. When I checked the BB, the signal was full strength. And I could call out without any problems. After I made a call from the BB, it started to receive calls normally. It still receive emails though.
View 1 Replies View RelatedBeing a CDMA user for so many years, I enjoyed nice voice clarity on almost any phone. 4-5 days back I have switched to GSM with 8520. Everything is nice but I'm experiencing very odd problem. I really don't know whether it is my mind playing a trick or it is true.
When talking over the phone, I feel the sound from other end is compressed...muffled... whatever you call it but its not clear as I used to get it on my CDMA network. I have tried enhancing options with boosting treble but not much difference. My ears feel pressurized while talking. I have told my wife to check the clarity but she is ok with it. For CDMA conection I'm using Samsung SCH-S379. Its very basic yet very clear compare to 8520.
I'm running on pre loaded 4.6 OS. My phone is made in Hungery 3 and its January 2010 make. Not yet activated BES/BIS. Does upgrading OS to 5.0 helps in improving earpiece voice clarity ?? do we have any other adjustments ?? is there always a difference in voice clarity in GSM and CDMA ??

Since yesterday (Sunday 18 October) my Z2 hasn't been able to connect to my home network. I've tried resetting the router, rebooted it, rebooted the phone, forgot the network and reconnected. Nothing works. My mobile network still works though. Also, my Vaio laptop and my girlfriend's iPhone don't have any problems connecting to the network.

I had photo stream turned off in iCloud so I turned it on. I have connected both iPad and iPhone are connected to wifi. I had turned several things off on my iPhone during this trip because it was an international trip and I didn't want to get any extra charges.
