BB Curve :: Text SMS In Mail Box Wont Open After Few Days?
Nov 6, 2012
I am facing this problem since few days as my curve phone is not opening up the text sms which are in mailbox 10 days older or before that. it will just open the message without any contents. text icons are converted to green for all these sms.
I recently changed 'Mail Days to Sync' to 'No Limit', but the main screen Mail Icon displays 1,152 e-mails (i.e., my entire Inbox). How to I stop this number being displayed?
I recently switched form the BB Tour to the XPTR as it was the only other World phone option. The claim is Droid does business but I'm not sold on this yet.Spite the menu the push feature has a mind of its own.Is it really possible that this is the only Droid phone which limited exchange mail to 14-days.Please comment if you have the same issue or know of an external mail app that has better functionality with Exchange 2007/2010.
I removed (using BB desktop manager) some 3rd party software - i.e. sky news, the Independent (newspaper) ESPN Goals tonight. Now my blackberry won't work properly - I get error messages, can't open mail or SMS programs - most importantly I can't open password vault. Sure, I have regular backups - but this is no use if the applications are not working.
My wife's iPhone 4 has been attempting to send a large message via Mail for the past 3 days. I'd like to stop the message since it's clearly not going to be sent. I've tried turning the phone off and on, but to no avail. The "Edit" box in the upper right corner is unavailable.
Why do my texts sometimes not show up until days later for my friends, and why do they sometimes miss out on texts altogether, even from other iPhones in the group text? And why do their texts come through as single texts to me, then I have to hit a download button, then the text goes through to the group text.
It's become very frustrating and I've never experienced anything like it until I got an s5.
And there's no option that AT&T or myself can find to disable this. How do I tell this piece of **bleep** phone to never delete my text messages? The only app i have installed is Facebook and I have over 300 MB of application space and multiple GBs of data storage space. I only have this problem with text messages too, emails older than 30 days are still on my phone. What's going on?
I am unable to open text messages.I can see them arrive and read the first line in the message list, but cannot open them.I have tried all the options that are offered on the little dot dot dot key, and get the same result.I also took out the battery and rebooted the thing. It worked the first day I had my 8530, but now it doesn't.
My bb curve has a mind of its own. the keypad does not work at all, i am unable to open text or answer calls.the cursor works after i take the battery out and it loads up but it wont do anything once its on. Just a red light flashes and thats it>
I left my phone open on a text message and when I returned to it a while later it had frozen. I tried to use some of the buttons to return to the home screen but nothing happened. I turned it off and then back on again but the screen came up white with a reset error message. I turned it off again and it won't turn on at all. The red light is just flashing. I am unable to connect the device to my computer.
Why does everything come through the mail icon and through the messages icon? It doesn't make sense. All I want when I click the envelope is e-mail. I found a post on here that sounded similar to my problem but I my phone doesn't have the same menu options. It is a 9330.
I have a blackberry 8530smokey violet, my carrier is Verizon. I'm having trouble receiving and sending any type of message(bbm/email/text) while on a phone call. When I hang up ALL my message come pouring in (I guess I should be happy they come in at all). Initially all the messages came in silently so I adjusted it so that I would be notified when a message comes in. I've since removed it but I still have the problem. Any advice?
Also while at work I changed the ringing to silent but all my messages cause my phone to make noise, I assumed when I made the phone silent I assumed all messages/phone calls would be silenced. Was I incorrect?
I'm planning to bring my BB 8530 phone to the Philippines. Can I still use my phone if I bring it to the Philippines. And please tell me everything about bringing my phone to the Philippines.
- Can I still text people here in America from the Philippines? - Is there gonna be any extra charges, I'm using Sprint, by the way. - Can I still use Web, E-mail, Call, etc., like I would normally use my phone here in U.S.?
I noticed that when I send a lot of text to one person, eventually the sending will freeze and I cannot open a text from this one person. Is this a common issue? I am on ATT and running .296
My BlackBerry Curve 9300 has reset itself twice within the last 3 days now! It restores itself to its original settings. Everytime it resets it deletes all contacts, messages, pins and data.
My bbm hasn't been working for a few days; whenever i try to send messages the tick comes up without the d (delivered) and whenever anyone tries to message me it comes up with a red cross.
Is it normal for my 8520's battery to last just 1-2 days after charging? I have it for about 2months now, and don't make use of a lot of apps (mostly emails, facebook).
For the past 2 days, I have been unable to receive any of my Outlook emails to my phone. I have 5 different email addresses that go to my phone and the only ones that are giving me problems are my 2 Outlook emails. I am able to send messages from them, but am not able to receive any. I am getting all of my messages in Outlook, so I think there is some kind of incoming server issue with Outlook and Blackberry. Here are the things that I have tried (with no success):1, I have tried to send my Service Books several times2. Tried deleting and recreating the email addresses on the phone.3. Tried several battery pulls for a rebootDDED INFO:Your carrier: T-MobileModel info and OS version (Go to Settings, then Options, then about): Blackberry 8900, v5.0.0.900
Well as i said i have a curve 9380 which for the last 2 days has been in a reboot loop. The only was that it stops is if i turn mobile network off, once back on and a network is found it tries to connect and reboots. I've reloaded the os including a wipe and factory restore with bbsak. But nothing works.
I have a 8520 T-Mobile and everytime I get a new email and or text it rads it automatically. I want it to stop .How do i do it ?It is disturbing i managed to turn off the text but the mail keeps on doing it .
My curve 9360 stops receiving calls every couple of days. I didn't know this until my wife called me on my other phone asking why she could not call me on my BB. When I checked the BB, the signal was full strength. And I could call out without any problems. After I made a call from the BB, it started to receive calls normally. It still receive emails though.
I upgraded my C7 to Belle now. Bad news: When I receive a mail or SMS that contains a link to a web page, I cannot open it. What happens is:I first get a notification sying 'Loading'. Then, one or two seconds later, it says 'Loading failed.
I am not 100% sure if this started with Belle. I installed quite a few application after I upgraded to Belle, so maybe it's one of those that causes the problem.
What I did, of course, was to check Application Settings > Default Applications > Browsing internet That's set to 'Internet', which I believe is what it should be. (I also tried to reset everything there, still nothing.)
I really, really, really wouldn't want to wipe the whole phone, re-install belle, re-install all of the applications. Is there a way to check what really gows wrong and fix it?
my recent mail from eBay to my Blackberry 9900 won't open! I get the coloured envelope on my email list to show that an ebay message has been sent. When I try to open this envelope, the phone takes me straight to compose a new email. This happens whether I try to open the mail from the message notifier along the top of my home screen, or if I use the email icon on the tool bar.
