I recently changed 'Mail Days to Sync' to 'No Limit', but the main screen Mail Icon displays 1,152 e-mails (i.e., my entire Inbox). How to I stop this number being displayed?

I am planning to buy my friend's recently purchased iPhone 4S. Since he was using it with his own AppleID for a month only, this 90 day limitation makes me wonder f I but it right now whether I could use it freely with my AppleID to be created new. I guess resetting it to factory settings and setting up as a new phone with a brand new AppleID should not cause any harm but I wanted to get expert opinion. I don't want to buy a phone and wait two more months to use it.
if this 90-day limitation goes away when I reset the device fully and set it up with new AppleID. I would expect no problem as none of the purchased apps/songs could be transferred from old account but still I am not sure and I need help.

I recently switched form the BB Tour to the XPTR as it was the only other World phone option.The claim is Droid does business but I'm not sold on this yet.Spite the menu the push feature has a mind of its own.Is it really possible that this is the only Droid phone which limited exchange mail to 14-days.Please comment if you have the same issue or know of an external mail app that has better functionality with Exchange 2007/2010.

However, in an attempt to fix the non-responsive screen I re-booted the device to factory settings (advice from EE) and restored the data from off the PC. However, it now seems to sync with my gmail account in preference to my Hotmail and as a result has duplicated all of my contacts. Where do I go to in the BB menus to change the setting back to Hotmail for the sync of organizer and mail?

I received an email today on my Droid X with a .doc attachment size of only 750kb and next to the attachment (where you normally click to download), it says "Attachment is too large". In my opinion, this limitation seems to be of a really LOW limit, especially compared to my iPhone. Wihtout wanting to get into a debate about EU regulation or what safe volumes are, how I can cap the volume on my iPhone (iPhone 4, latest OS) to a relatively agreed safe limit? I remember that my older iPod Classic had a handy line that you could set the limit to (related, I think, to the FR/EU regulation).
I have found the slider in Settings>Music on the iPhone, how much I need to dial this down for it to be 'safe'. I intend using my noise cancelling headhone more (so I can hear more of the lower volume music)

I just activated a Photon and I think I made a huge mistake. The email client only syncs 30 days' worth of email? There's no way to sync older messages? I don't keep much in my inbox but I do keep messages older than 30 days and I need to go back to them from time to time.I suppose the obvious workaround is to use a 3rd party mail program, but please let me know if there is a workaround. I was stunned to see this limitation.

My E52 stops synchronising with Exchange after approx 10-14 days. Works perfectly for a while after initial sync, then after said period I just notice that sync of all objects (e-mail, contacts etc.) stops. No warnings, no error messages. All settings seem intact.
Only thing that works is a factory reset and setting everything up from scratch again.
How can i change the weekend days to other couple of days rather than Saturday and Sunday?

I wiped the phone so I could put my information on and recently checked a post that if it wasn't for work purposes you didn't need a blackberry password to set up my personal e-mail address and the password was only for work related e-mails.

I am on my third blackberry curve, Carphonewarehouse don't know what to do. It just wont set up. I get "update failed" I have tried to set up through T Mobile on my phone, no luck, says an error has occurred while setting up email...I have run out of ideas.
