View 4 Replies View RelatedThree days back I have migrated from 2G to 3G network the 2G & 3G Operator. Before applying for migration to 3G, I sought advices from the Office on Desk. He querried that my 3110 classic handset, can I surf internet. On my affirmative response, he suggested me for migration to 3G. I have done and now am a participant in 3G network. My question is (i) is 3110 classic handset is compatible to 3G network technology? (ii) So far media is drum-beating about efficient and speed available in 3G compared to 2G networ, I do not find, after migration to 3G network any signicant magic in performance in internet surfing. Hence I am in doubt that I may be paying higher tariff in 3G compared to 2G when 3110 Classic is not compatible model? If the model is not compatible to 3G network, I would revert back to 2G network as before.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just bought a 5800 Express Music and am very new to the world of mobile phones. I have had a Yahoo Mail account for the last ten years and would like to be able to access it throught the phone's email system.
This is what I've done: In Settings Wizard, click Email Setup.
-Phone says "Allow application to use network to send or receive data?"
-I say "yes".
-Phone says "Testing network", then "Contacting email server".
-Phone gives me a screen with Yahoo, Gmail, Ovi etc.
-I click on Yahoo, then write my Yahoo email address.
-Phone says "Getting email settings", then "Unable to connect with the information provided. Please try again".
After setting for Mail for Exchange, my Nokia E7 phone shows low memory. I checked C Memory & there are only important files & that too of small sizes. All major Applications are installed in Mass Memory only. Is "Low Memory" issue due to Mail for Exchange? If so, is it possible to transfer / change the data of Mail Exchange to Mass Memory instead of Phone Memory?

Ever since i got my Nokia x302, i have not been ale to setup my yahoo mail. Each time i try i get an error message sayong "invalid yahoo id or password, please try again." I have crosschecked several times to make sure i entered the correct data, even went ahead to change my password on my laptop, but still no success.

I wiped the phone so I could put my information on and recently checked a post that if it wasn't for work purposes you didn't need a blackberry password to set up my personal e-mail address and the password was only for work related e-mails.
Can someone confirm if this is the case and also how I set it up otherwise as it just keeps asking for a password and wont let me add mine on without it.
I bought a new blackberry torch 9860 it's all working great but i can't register any yahoo mail account it keeps telling me that the email address or the passord are invalid and i'm sure of the address and the password and using them on pc ok i tried other mail accounts like hotmail and its working alright i called my network provider and they told me the service working alright to everyone and the problem with my device

I am having real and I mean real problems setting up my Mail.com email. Since their settings have changed I have not received any emails. I am on my third blackberry curve, Carphonewarehouse don't know what to do. It just wont set up. I get "update failed" I have tried to set up through T Mobile on my phone, no luck, says an error has occurred while setting up email...I have run out of ideas. Contract is ending in Nov and very tempted to go to another smartphone.

I am having trouble sending mail with 2 accounts. Both are get before send and there is no log in needed.Every time I blank the username feild the application repopulates it with my email address. I'm guessing that is the reason that I can get mail but not send it with these 2 accounts.

However, in an attempt to fix the non-responsive screen I re-booted the device to factory settings (advice from EE) and restored the data from off the PC. However, it now seems to sync with my gmail account in preference to my Hotmail and as a result has duplicated all of my contacts.
