I bought a new blackberry torch 9860 it's all working great but i can't register any yahoo mail account it keeps telling me that the email address or the passord are invalid and i'm sure of the address and the password and using them on pc ok i tried other mail accounts like hotmail and its working alright i called my network provider and they told me the service working alright to everyone and the problem with my device
I really need help if there is any way i can set up my yahoo mail acoount.
Ever since i got my Nokia x302, i have not been ale to setup my yahoo mail. Each time i try i get an error message sayong "invalid yahoo id or password, please try again." I have crosschecked several times to make sure i entered the correct data, even went ahead to change my password on my laptop, but still no success.
I just bought a 5800 Express Music and am very new to the world of mobile phones. I have had a Yahoo Mail account for the last ten years and would like to be able to access it throught the phone's email system.
This is what I've done: In Settings Wizard, click Email Setup.
-Phone says "Allow application to use network to send or receive data?" -I say "yes". -Phone says "Testing network", then "Contacting email server". -Phone gives me a screen with Yahoo, Gmail, Ovi etc. -I click on Yahoo, then write my Yahoo email address. -Phone says "Getting email settings", then "Unable to connect with the information provided. Please try again".
How can I setup Yahoo Mail in my Blackberry Torch? I always get the "invalid email or password" error message. I've checked the email address and password are correct.
My phone had Outlook connected to the office exchange server and had added Yahoo, Gmail and Aol on my phone for email access.Last evening when i tried to uninstall/ delete the Yahoo service from my phone, to my surprise i found that my Gmail and AOL accounts were also deleted. It does not stop there ...My yahoo account is not apperaing on the main screen as a seperate icon buy I am still receiving email and updates from my YAHOO account alone which is reflected in the MESSAGE ICON.Could some help me delete the yahoo account of my phone completely.I deleted the yahoo account by going in OPTIONS --> DEVICE --> ADVANCED SYSTEM SETTINGS --> SERVICE BOOKS. after doing this and returing to the main screen i find my gmail and aol accounts also deleted.
I am unable to setup yahoomail in my blackberry.I keep getting invalid username or password error.I was advised to upgrade to yahoo plus and have done so accordingly.Yet even after paying for yahoo plus i am unable to setup my yahoo mail on my blackberry device.
how to deal with the problem I have with my contact list on my Torch....my yahoo mail contact list became infected...with over 4000 phoney contacts...when I synced my Blackberry of course they loaded onto my phone contact list.now that I have cleared them out of my yahoo mail list....if I sync my phone will they return again into my yahoo....or how do I avoid that from happening..
For the past 4-5 days I have only been receiving some of the emails that are on Yahoo Mail when checked online. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. Two emails from same sender - sometimes only one will be on BB inbox. There are not any filters set up on the BB.I have tried resetting to factory default and restoring to a backup from BB Desktop. I can send emails fine from the BB - sometimes the auto BCC works sometimes not. The Torch is about 11 months old and worked perfectly prior to this.
Why is the Gmail and Yahoo mail inbox not displaying older email messages from the inbox ?In my Gmail Inbox , I have 20 older email messages that is displayed using a web browser , but it does not appear in my Torch .Is there a way to sync older email messages that is already read and older than 3 months?
Text message icon went suddenly missing from home screen after setting up mail account. Screen only has messages icon and clicking that takes to email messages.
This is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.
i am using bb since 4 years. i now switched to bb bold 9700 which has wi-fi and 3g. i need help on following topics, sorry if this is repeat question but i searched all possible solutions on website but remained failed.
1. how to set up hotmail, yahoo mail, gmail accounts along with official company mails which is already set up. important is to received online mails the i am receiving official mails on company account, means it rings when a mail hits inbox, i want the same for hotmail, yahoo mail and gmail?
2. how to play Internet on it, when i click on any Internet video, it asked, do you want to switch to wap to stream the video, when i say yes, it gives error message, if i am on wi-fi connection, even then it does not play any video, simply gives error message.
I have weird problem here with my Ymail Account, When i try to setup my xxx@ymail.com account on BIS , autumaticaly a mail server is generated which is pop.izymail.com.
Every time i go to set an mailbox (i.e gmail) i just enter the password and the device just take me to the screen to choose E-mail (Ovi Mail, Yahoo, Gmail...).. Nothing happens.
I have an iphone and setting an e-mail account was peace of cake. Nokia drives me crazy. I did factory defaults and everything but nothing seems to help. I can access internet by wi-fi and by my operator (successfully browse the WEB).
I have set up my yahoo mail account on my Nokia C6-01. I receive mails as they should do. But I Cant send mail. When I compose a mail and try to send it it just stays in outbox. I have set the mailbox settings correctly. While my gmail account works fine to send mails. Mails are sent instantly. Is anyone else going thru this trouble? And I Cant set up the Ovi mail mailbox. It keeps telling me "unable to sign in"
I recently changed my password on Yahoo.com, and I started having trouble accessing my email using the mail app on the iPhone 5. It was displaying "cannot get mail" and couldn't connect to the server, even after I updated my password on the phone. It seemed like it was reverting to my old password, even after I successfully changed it.Â
I switched to trying to access Yahoo through Mail - Other and it worked. I can receive my e-mails, but now it is not letting me send outgoing mails. It says "doesn't accept relays".

I need help with the messaging -> email. I tried to set up personal email on my Nokia N97. I tried using Yahoo but it doesn't work. Then I tried using hotmail and it worked fine (but my hotmail is full of spam so I want to get my Yahoomail to work). It said that I have the username or password wrong. I tried using both with @yahoo.com and without @yahoo.com it still says connection refused by server, check username and password (I am sure everything is right, because I tried to log onto my yahoo server).
Able to receive yahoo mail but unable to send - telling me the outgoing server "apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com" failed and asking me to configure additional mail servers. But I only use Yahoo
i bought a new torch 9860 with OS7. when i try to open any flash video from facebook, it doesn;t open and says my phone doesnot support this. on adobe site, there is no flash player available for blackberry os7.
I finally got around to setting up Mac Mail on my iMac today. My primary e-mail account is an @yahoo.com address. After setting up yahoo on the Mac Mail program, my iMac and iPad can receive new yahoo e-mails when they check for mail, but my iPhone not only isn't receiving yahoo mail when it checks for them, it will not fetch new e-mail either when I manually tell it check for e-mails. The only way it has received any of the new e-mails is after I shut down the phone and rebooted it. Again, everything was working fine until I set up Mac Mail today.
I am using N97 mini and I tried to setup my Yahoo Mail using the email setup tool. I can confirm that I supplied the correct username and password but still, it keeps on asking the username / password even if I enter it a number of times already. I tried using username with and without @yahoo.mail but I get the same results. Note that I was successful in setting up my mail in the office (IMAP4).
I got a Nokia Lumia 900 and I can't connect to my Yahoo Mail service.I go to Settings>email+accounts>add a new account>Yahoo! Mail...then I input my email address and password, press sign in and I get the following error message...'We couldn't find the settings for the account information you entered.
