how to deal with the problem I have with my contact list on my Torch....my yahoo mail contact list became infected...with over 4000 phoney contacts...when I synced my Blackberry of course they loaded onto my phone contact list.now that I have cleared them out of my yahoo mail list....if I sync my phone will they return again into my yahoo....or how do I avoid that from happening..
View 1 RepliesThis is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.
Rather than using the yahoo mail app i simply use gmail to access my yahoo account, but for the last few weeks it hasn't been syncing.
I delete the account and re add it and it works for a day but then it stops syncing, i delete the account again and add it and it works for another day but then it stops. Is yahoo neutering anyone that isn't using their app to check mail?
About two weeks ago my yahoo mail stopped syncing in the default mail app with an authentication error. I saw that other people were experiencing the same thing and that it might have been because of a server issue. However, my account still won't sync. The Yahoo app is able to get to my email fine, so I know it's not a password problem. I've tried to delete accounts and clear out all data from the mail app, but it still won't work. My corporate sync account works fine in the same app. I tried to add my gmail account to the email app and it had the same problem even though the Gmail app can connect fine.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy phone had Outlook connected to the office exchange server and had added Yahoo, Gmail and Aol on my phone for email access.Last evening when i tried to uninstall/ delete the Yahoo service from my phone, to my surprise i found that my Gmail and AOL accounts were also deleted. It does not stop there ...My yahoo account is not apperaing on the main screen as a seperate icon buy I am still receiving email and updates from my YAHOO account alone which is reflected in the MESSAGE ICON.Could some help me delete the yahoo account of my phone completely.I deleted the yahoo account by going in OPTIONS --> DEVICE --> ADVANCED SYSTEM SETTINGS --> SERVICE BOOKS. after doing this and returing to the main screen i find my gmail and aol accounts also deleted.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the past 4-5 days I have only been receiving some of the emails that are on Yahoo Mail when checked online. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. Two emails from same sender - sometimes only one will be on BB inbox. There are not any filters set up on the BB.I have tried resetting to factory default and restoring to a backup from BB Desktop. I can send emails fine from the BB - sometimes the auto BCC works sometimes not. The Torch is about 11 months old and worked perfectly prior to this.

Emails, contacts and calenders etc get synced with our exchange server but e72 shows connected but the emails or the contacts des not get downloaded (synced). I tried this with E71 same problem. But on iphones and android etc. based handsets it works absolutely high.

No I no longer have a default contact list, only AT&T phonebook. I am no longer able to sync with outlook. I can even figure out how to create a different contact list and make it default.

It was displaying "cannot get mail" and couldn't connect to the server, even after I updated my password on the phone. It seemed like it was reverting to my old password, even after I successfully changed it.Â

I am able to bring up yahoo calender and when I go to options, the 'wirelesss synchronization' is set to 'No'. I can't seem to change that. Does anyone know if there is any other way/option that needs to be enabled? I can sync via Desktop Manager with yahoo, but need a way to sync wirelessly. Apparently Yahoo Go service provided that option but is no longer supported.
