Ever since the new update, 7.1 bundle 2039, the option to switch to 2G has disappeared. I use to switch to 2G to save battery life. My phone doesn't last half a day on 3G mode.

I have had this phone for exactly 9 months. It was working fine up until I went to bed last night. I woke up this morning to find it not charging, not switching in, and when it's plugged into the charger, no red light is coming on. Absolutely no response whatsoever.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI use a curve 9360 phone with a default carrier of T mobile which I had to jailbreak to use my local network. But since then the only available network mode is 2G and '3G & 2G'. I don't av d 3G only option even though my OS is 7.1. And I have people around me using the same model but have the option on theirs. what can I do to change to & remain on 3G only.

I recently upgraded to a BB 9360 and am with Vodacom in South Africa.First thing I did upon receiving the phone was set it up nicely and then WANT to change the Mobile Network options for Network mode from 3G to 2G only but alas, the only options open to me are 3G & 2G or 3G.Now, I'm a paramedic in South Africa and my 9780 Bold's battery lasts an entire shift (12 hours!) but that's with the 2G ONLY option.So obviously I'd like to have this feature back on my 9360!!!I can't afford to go out and buy new batteries!

View 5 Replies View RelatedI want to setup email connection. On this 9360 I do not have any Connection Assistant so I use "setup" mode and "mail accounts" options. Usually (as on my previous Curve 8520) I used to have two options when entering there :
- Use my own email address (personal address) or create a new one
- Use my Enterprise email address
But when I launch Email setup on my curve 9360, I have only the Enterprise option so that I Cannot setup email! My 9360 runs under OS 7.
Since large update last week the option icon has disappeared from the desktop screen.When I try to access options via the bb menu it does not respond and takes me back to the home screen.

I've rebooted the device, and even deleted the TouchWiz cache and data, but it didn't work.
My network service provider has given me a plan in which 2G network is by default activated and I am also taking 3G plan on top of it. For normal use i want to use 2G network and in special cases where i need speed I want to use 3G network. Is there any option in the phone where i can switch to any network ( 2G or 3G) as per my need ? or switch off complete mobile network when not needed ?
for example at present If i am accessing network using 2G network and speed is not good enough can i switch to 3G network ? and once my work is done can i switch back to 2 G or completely turn off mobile network ?
On the LG G3 if you don't use the LG keyboard you get the keyboard notification giving you the option to switch between keyboards. To get rid of this you need to have only one keyboard ticked in settings, however there is no way to disable the LG keyboard that I can find, meaning the notification is always present.

my company recently moved to google mail and i am using a BB with curve 9300. all seems to be working fine except for 2 things.firstly when i go to compose an email on my BB and look for a company name in the address book i no long have the address lookup function. i am sure it was there when i first set up my BB with our company gmail domain.secondly 2 way sync seems to be working fine except for when i delete a message on the BB i get the option to delete on handheld and on mailbox and select that. except it never does. i have recived the message over and over from the server. i have changed the settings so on conflicts handheld wins and still the message wont delete on the server. the sync works fine for sent items on BB calender and for read items. just wont delete.

Is there a way of that being my default method for unlocking my phone, as I currently have a Device lock kick in after 5 minutes idle, then I have to flick the switch and type in the 5 digit key. I'd much rather just do the swipe. Then one day i saw an update for nokia music in marketplace, and after the update the option of store and my mix had disappeared from the app... View 3 Replies View RelatedYesterday I set up voice commands on my S6 under Google/Google Now. Under settings there was an opportunity to select whether you want the voice recognition just from within Google or "from any screen". I opted for "from any screen"had the "from any screen". Today no matter what I do it is just not available - the ONLY option shown is from within Google. The 'voice training' is gone, option for any screen is gone and I cannot get it back no matter what I tried.
I have tried it with TouchWiz, Nova launcher and Google Now launcher - same problem. I have tried English (US) English (Canada) and English (UK) as default language all to no avail.
Yesterday when it was "working" I definitely saw that the function was sporadic, sometimes worked, sometimes not. But now I can't even select that option.
Just checked my camera and the panoramic and sphere options have gone. I had them before but seem to be missing. On a Nexus 5. Tried clearing the cache via Recovery mode but still no luck.
