I have a bb Curve 9360 and my text icon has disappeared from my home screen. I can no longer send or receive text messages. I looked on bb tech support page and it said something to do with turning 'fixed dialing" off. I cannot seem to access anything to get it back and working again.

My phone icon disapeared from the icon tray on home screen into the application folder. I can not figure out how to put it back on the bottom icon tray on home screen. I also just updated my phone today. Not sure if that has something to do with it.

This morning I discovered my SMS icon was missing from the homescreen. i checked in all the folders-- not there. i did the Show All Icons thing-still didnt show up. this has never happend to my friends with blackberrys.

When I tap on it, my desktop messages open instead?it used to work fine when I first got the phone. The only way I can write a text is to select a contact from the contacts list and then select to send that person a text message. This all works but is a pain. I slid the text size bar all the way to 450%, which enlarged the right screen, but didn't change my home screen as much. View 5 Replies View Relatedi have just updated the o/s on my blackberry curve today (v5.0.0.681).i have a work exchange email, and i have also added my personal mail account via Setup / Email Settings - the new additional mail address is visible, and i have received an email from the Activation Server confirming, i am also receiving mails from both email addresses.the issue is that the icon for the extra mailbox is not appearing on the home screen, or in any of the folders (up until the o/s upgrade i had no issues and it was always visible) I have taken the battery in and out - any other suggestions?
