Jul 28, 2010My Tour did an amazing feat last night while on being charged. It turned off and then this morning I was unable to turn it back on.

BB Tour 9630 :: Not Charging - Turned Charging Indicator Led On With Berrybuzz And Light Didn't Turn On
Jan 1, 2010I plugged my bb into the wall and for a little bit it was charging fine but then the symbol disappeared. I unplugged and plugged back in which made the clock pop up so I know it connected right. But its still not charging. I turned the charging indicator led on with berrybuzz and the light didn't turn on when I plugged it in.
Meterberry says the temp is 111 degrees. I don't know what the 'normal' ranges are. I'm still under my 30day warranty so do I take it back? Is anyone else having this problem? Its done this before and it eventually charges but something is going on....
BB Curve :: 9360 Suddenly Turned Off And Now Continuously Rebooting
Aug 26, 2012I have had my bb curve 9360 for about 4 weeks now it has been working fine until last night it turned off and now it keeps rebooting have connected it to my computer. I have done a repair on it but it is still doing the same thing and has now been in repair on my pc for about 2 hours and it not doing anything.

May 10, 2010So, I've had my Tour for around 8 to 9 months now. its worked pretty well overall. I put it in a Seidio innocase right when I got it and got the matching dock so I can charge it in the case.About 2 weeks ago, it just wouldn't charge on the dock anymore. I can plug it in, and it charges fine.Noone else I know has a Tour so I can't see if theirs will charge on my dock. I can only say that the dock hasn't left my end table in months, hasn't been dropped, and likely isn't the issue.Has anyone else had this happen on the Tour?I'm less than 1 yr with the Tour, but I've NEVER bought the insurance through Verizon. Do, I have ANY recourse here?I believe the last time I investigated the coverage, I understood that there was nearly no reason to have insurance becasue the phone has a year warranty from the manuf, but I must go through Verizon to do anything.I wanna have my ducks in a row before going forward.I also bought the phone on my Amex bluecash which extends my warranties up to an additional year, so if I can find documentation that the phone has a year warranty with RIM, then in another couple months I can make a claim on my AMEX, of course they would only cover what I paid for it which I believe was 100, or maybe 150 as far my card charges show.Not sure which way to go with this.If there is something I can take apart and fix inside, I'm not against attempting that but I dunno what it could be.

Jul 21, 2012I purchased a 9360 in January of this year from O2 UK. Yesterday my charging port came out and was stuck to the end of my charger. I have lost my receipt, although shouldn't it come up on O2's system I bought it from them once I provide my details? I have read on here the charging port coming out has been a problem with other bb users and would like to know if this problem is covered by the 1 year warranty?

Mar 29, 2015I have a galaxy s5 and a few days ago while i was charging my phone i started to hear a sizzling sound like something burning and i realized it was the USB in the charging port. i top it out immediately and it still charges but it only charges when it's turned off and when it's on it shows the little lighting strike on it but it's not really charging when plugged in(FYI it does not still have the charging symbol when not plugged in). Oct 28, 2015My Z3 has been shutting down automatically. At first I was still able to turn it back on, but then would shut down within 5 min.
Afterwards, it would only be turned on a few seconds while charging. Now it wouldnt even turn on.

I've exposed my Z3 to water (warm) earlier but I am not sure if that is the issue since it still worked after.

Jul 1, 2010The phone doesnt stay on. Unless the charger is in the phone, it says, "battery drain, now shutting down". I've bought a new battery and that doesnt change it. Sometimes I play around with the phone and the battery is not low battery and works until I take the battery out of the phone. Then it just goes to low battery again. I dont know what needs to be changed or what needs to be done.

*My phone is not rooted.
*I have not messed with any modifications.

My phone had died because the battery life ran out. I charged it fully and unplugged it. I kept it off for a little while, and when I turned it on it booted normally to the start-up screen, blinked off and restarted back to the screen; it remained stuck there. I can power off and enter recovery mode, but I can't power off. The charge logo appears when I plug it up, but it stays there with an empty power logo even after I unplug it. I have to always take out the battery to turn it off. What did I do wrong, and I can I fix it without having to wipe out documents? (I have a lot of writing documents).

Feb 8, 2010After a recent update of the software on my Tour, I find the battery draining INCREDIBLY fast when the Radio is turned off.
At work, I don't get a signal, so I have been turning off the radio...and in that state, after 24 hours, the battery is usually still at 100%.Now....my battery is draining down to 40% in 5 hours....any thoughts anyone?

Apr 18, 2010I recently bought myself another battery and a charger which I got to say that with my usage habits is pretty slick. What is interesting is that my standalone charger takes about 3 to 4 hours to charge up my battery while my phone charges batteries in about an hour.
Obviously the tour is utilizing the rapid charging technology. Does anyone know how this effects the long term battery longevity and daily battery life? I think I might be seeing better battery life with the 4 hour charger.

Jan 19, 2010I noticed that there are times I do not get an audible when the phone is charging. Whether it's with the home charger the phone came with or a car charger (from Verizon), the majority of the time, I do not hear the alert when a message comes in. This has happened to me with all of my Tours (on my 3rd replacement). I do not have any custom ring tones/alerts. All the alerts I use are the ones that come with the phone. I don't have any 3rd party apps which would affect the tones. Does anyone else experience or hear of this? If so is there a fix to this?

I was just headed to bed, I checked my phone a final time and had no issued. I always charge my phone on my nightstand next to my bed while I sleep. The instant I plugged the USB end of the power chord into the phone the screen went haywire. The screen is now saturated with a random pattern of colored lines. I cannot see or do anything. I tried battery out restarts and it did nothing. My phone has never been wet, never fallen or had any impacts, and is always in a silicone case. Again, this phone is basically brand new and the problem started the instant I began charging it tonight!What the heck happened and how the heck do I fix it!?

It prompts me to use connect to iTunes . I have done all iTunes updates but it says it cannot be restored due to error 14.
It restored correctly once this weekend and functioned for all of an hour before it died.
I'm afraid I'm within days of the one year warranty. Because I live in a rural area I can't get to a Rogers or IApple store I cannot conveniently take it in for replacement or repair. Â

Aug 16, 2010Help! I bought a BlackBerry Charging Pod for my 9700, the packaging that came with it says it is for a Tour 9630.
I plugged it in and the power light on the pod lit up but there is no indication on the 9700 that says it is charging when placed in pod and I set the clock to display when charging and that doesn't work when placed in the pod!I bought it from a place called OEM in Brooklyn.
