Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: No Data Service When Turned On After Charging
May 17, 2012
I bought a new Neo V and I allow the phone to discharge. I charged the phone and then try to put it back on. The phone is telling me there is no data service and it immediately cuts off.
My Z3 has been shutting down automatically. At first I was still able to turn it back on, but then would shut down within 5 min.
Afterwards, it would only be turned on a few seconds while charging. Now it wouldnt even turn on. Â I've exposed my Z3 to water (warm) earlier but I am not sure if that is the issue since it still worked after.
I plugged my bb into the wall and for a little bit it was charging fine but then the symbol disappeared. I unplugged and plugged back in which made the clock pop up so I know it connected right. But its still not charging. I turned the charging indicator led on with berrybuzz and the light didn't turn on when I plugged it in.
Meterberry says the temp is 111 degrees. I don't know what the 'normal' ranges are. I'm still under my 30day warranty so do I take it back? Is anyone else having this problem? Its done this before and it eventually charges but something is going on....
Hi, I'm having a problem accessing the market through my phone (xperia x8), I have the data traffic turned on, should I have anything else on or off or what?
Can the Z5 be charged while the data function of the USB port is usable? Here's what I'm doing: I have a DACmagic XS which, with a host (OTG) cable is recognized. Loudness and dynamic headroom of the DAC is better than the headphone jack. It is recognized by using the USB Audio Player app or Detect USB Device in Settings>Device Connection>USB Connectivity. Â I tried to use an acasis H027 hub that claims to be able to do what I need: charge while playing music, but all kinds of trial and error resulted in only errors. The DACmagic is only recognized when there is no charging going on.Â
I have a notification being displayed in my Z3 Dual. The notifications says that Restricted acces has been changed, Data Service is blocked.Â
It comes from the phone app and I have no data problems with either sim or WIFI and it happens wether stamina mode os ON or OFF... so, what does this mean?
I have a galaxy s5 and a few days ago while i was charging my phone i started to hear a sizzling sound like something burning and i realized it was the USB in the charging port. i top it out immediately and it still charges but it only charges when it's turned off and when it's on it shows the little lighting strike on it but it's not really charging when plugged in(FYI it does not still have the charging symbol when not plugged in). Do I replace the battery or the phone. or is there nothing i can do?
The phone doesnt stay on. Unless the charger is in the phone, it says, "battery drain, now shutting down". I've bought a new battery and that doesnt change it. Sometimes I play around with the phone and the battery is not low battery and works until I take the battery out of the phone. Then it just goes to low battery again. I dont know what needs to be changed or what needs to be done.
Okay, first let me start off by giving some descriptions to questions you may have:
*My phone is not rooted. *I have not messed with any modifications. *My phone's automatic update is turned off. (I haven't update since 4.42.) *I've already erased the cache in recovery mode. *I don't have a back-up.
My phone had died because the battery life ran out. I charged it fully and unplugged it. I kept it off for a little while, and when I turned it on it booted normally to the start-up screen, blinked off and restarted back to the screen; it remained stuck there. I can power off and enter recovery mode, but I can't power off. The charge logo appears when I plug it up, but it stays there with an empty power logo even after I unplug it. I have to always take out the battery to turn it off. What did I do wrong, and I can I fix it without having to wipe out documents? (I have a lot of writing documents).
I'm turning on the Vivaz after a night in charging. It's turning on and stuck on the SE screen at the start. I've tried everything and nothing helpful, what can I do?
Who else got gps issues with this device? When location is set to gps only and data turned off, gps doesn't work. In my previous devices it would work no problem.
I have both wifi and mobile date turned and my Verizon galaxy s5 with lollipop turns my data on and starts to perform an update. I go to my quick data button and it shows that data is off, but on the top of the phone it shows data is on. The only way to stop the download is to turn on airplane mode.
My dad just bought an iPhone 4. If he turns off the cellular data option, can he still recieve iMessages from me sent from my iPad 2 that uses wifi? If he can recieve iMessages with cellular data turned off, is there any charge or data usage required?
Is there a way to turn off the "cellular data is turned off for application" notifications? I play most games in single user mode and don't use social apps, so I don't see any need for cellular data or wi-fi to be active for every app. The notification pop-ups get really annoying. Is there a way to kill them?
the service goes out all of a sudden, and i have to switch the phone off and on agin to regain service. this happens in areas where i normally have good service
There's the timezone issue they have to fix, all inbound txts are in a different timezone. Also, when Im at home with 3g and wifi activated, apps will have alot of trouble getting to the internet. I have to disable one to get networking to work. Ill try locale app but networking should work seamlessly. Now I see the 3G icon and the H icon whirring away and I have 'Mobile network' disabled.Anyone else having these network issues? Does the Legend notify you if youve had an OTA update?
my Defy+ does also reboot. Let me explain what i already tryed.i am a T-Mobile Germany user and have a data plan called Web`n`walk flat wich only allows for webtraffic eg ports 80/443 basically.- I got the Handset replaced 2 times, however the handsets i got where not new they where "repaired" whatever that means. So i did not send mine and had to wait, actualy they replaced it at my door. So 3 different handset where the last one is the worst one. Anyway -> no difference.
- Under my contract i do have 2 SIM cards and i ask them to replace the older one with a new one so i tested 3 different SIM cards where the last once where n3 and n4 -> no difference
- delivered 2gb SD card, Samsung class2 8Gb, new Samsung 16 Gb class10, formated the 16Gb in the handset -> no difference
- 2.3.4 and 2.3.6 which i got some time at the second handset as OTA Update -> no difference
- 2 different MOTOBlur accounts -> no difference
- factory reset/cache wipe -> no difference Even i experience the reboots strait after the factory reset within the start wizzard eg on the Screen where you turn on Data Usage.
- turn data connection to 2G only -> no difference
But now:
- if i turn off DataUsage keep the phone connection active and just stay on WiFi -> no reloads for hours/days?
As the last handset keeped restarting at my house as well i connected it to the adb and capture some kernel logs.... the system dies with Kernel Panic and restarts. Here we go with an example. It is just the panic lines and a bit above. I dont understand that mutch of linux kernel debugging however. I required i could do more logs. (only without root as the phone is on the 2.3.6 kernel ROM)
How do I stop the prompt coming up indicating that mobile data is turned off for a certain app. I know it is turned off and I don't want to be reminded every time I open an app.
My wife and I both have 2014 Moto Xs on AT&T, roughly 3 weeks old. My phone is 100% great, however her phone will only connect to Wifi networks if mobile data is turned off.
I've tried everything, and can't get it to work correctly. It will either show the list of networks associated with the device with the word "disabled" under the most recent network, or be stuck on the blank "Searching for Wi-Fi networks..." screen.
I have a Galaxy S6 (64G) from AT&T. I've been having problems receiving Whatsapp notifications when the screen is turned off for a while. I measured that it takes about 10-15 minutes after the screen is turned Off using the web interface for whatsapp. I have enabled notifications to always allow pop ups in the appI checked that restrict background data is not enabled for WhatsppI have set Whatsapp notifications as priority under App notificationsChecked to make sure that So not disturb is set to OFF.
After the connection is dropped I see all the missed messages and notifications showing up only after opening the app. This has been very annoying and I've been unable to respond to important messages in a timely manner if the phone has been idle for a while.
since upgrading to IOS 8, I am constantly getting warnings that from apps that mobile data is turned off. This happens when connected via WiFi and even when opening Settings - the place where you turn mobile data on and off! How can I disable this annoying alert and has a bug been submitted as it is incor behaviour to moan about mobile data when INET connectivity is present via WiFi.Â
BTW, this interface for this site is tragically bad when using an iPhone 5 in landscape mode. It doesn't "just work"
basically my phone is not connecting to mobile data after wi-fi connection is lost or manually disconnected. This is not always happening but once it happens the only way to bring back mobile data is by restarting the phone or manually toggling mobile data on and off in settings. Once it connects to mobile data it'll work for a while but then after being connected on WI-FI for a while it won't go back to mobile data on its own.
I'm currently out of the country and have data services turned off. Had to redo settings. iMessage for phone number is now unverified and "waiting to be activated". It works with my email, but not my phone number, which is what most people have. Is there a way to verify phone number when the phone data is turned off? Or can I only receive via my email address until I am back in the US
Im going to the US this summer for a long excursion, i intend to take a large amount of photos on my iphone, i just wondered if i 'places' still worked when 1.data roaming is turned off and 2. if airplane mode was on for obvious reasons i dont want to come back after 3 months and find that i have a phone bill of over a thousand pounds because i left data roaming on.
When I tried to connect to magnetic charging dock the Led and the charging symbol starts blinking continuously without getting charged, while it used to be perfect previously, and usb charging is perfectly fine , i even tried with multiple chargers.
I own a BB 8820. It has Wi Fi and a browser and that is all I need to browse the Internet when I am within the rage of a hotpot, which I am at home, for example.
My signal is strong, and I am connected. However, when I call the BB browser or the recently installed Opera, both tell me that there is no connection. I don't want to pay ATT for a data plan when I basically want to access the Internet as I would with a laptop. Don't I have all the elements in place to do that?I suspect I have some parameter set wrong, but I don't know which.
i have i phone 3g and my service is airvoice pp service which is i do not have data service but iphone has tom tom gps so time to time i'm used tom tom gps. and i like to know how good is nexus one batt life.
