BB Torch 9800 :: Hide / Unhide Picture Folders Option?
Aug 15, 2010Anyone able to hide or unhide (since one seemed to have vanished on me) their picture folders? I had a folder, ticked the hide button but it was still able to be seen. Battery pull (for a different issue) and than the folder is gone and have no idea how one would get it back.It's not like on the 9700.

Feb 1, 2012I uploaded some pictures to my phone from the computer and it created another album called "blackberry pictures" apart from the picture library. I have some of the same pictures in both albums and I only want to keep the picture library album. But as soon as I delete my blackberry pictures library it deletes it from the picture library as well. How do I only get 1 picture library and still keep the pictures?

As of now i want to make some space on my iPhone 4 by removing the folders out of my iphone 4 but the trouble is by the time i plugged my iphone 4 in i can't seem to unselecet the folders under ths photos tab devices in itunes.

Feb 19, 2010Tried to take a screenshot but I can't get Quicklaunch to open in Picture Folders.I was using Media Sync to take some selected pictures off my Tour and put them on my PC. I noticed when I was done all contents of my Picture Folders were on my PC. So I reversed the process with Media Sync to get my Wallpaper images back on the Tour. I specifically ticked off only the images I wanted to transfer back to Tour. Long story short every freakin' picture I had taken off the Tour transferred back (which I didn't want), along with Wallpaper (which I did want). Also pics were duplicated. First set went into designated folders they came from, duplicate pics were just sitting there not in a designated folder.(I deleted the dups). But I don't know how/why "user" or "Music" landed in Picture Folders and I'm not sure if it's safe to remove?

Jun 7, 2011I have over 150 photos in the Pictures Folder on my Blackberry Torch 9800 and after importing them to my PC, I want to delete them from my BB to regain space and memory.. I can delete these photos one by one following directions in the Guide but it does not make sense to repeat this step 150 times and there must be a quicker way to go about it.
What I want to do is to delete the entire contents of that Pictures Folder in one step. I have looked into the BB Torch User Guide Ver 6.0 and in Help for the BB Desktop Software and have not found any directions on deleting entire folders or multiple files in a folder in one step.
BB Torch :: Importing Pictures To PC - Maintain Folders
Jan 15, 2012I need to be able to take photos for work, but it is also requisite to keep them arranged in specific folders so I know what they are and can be coalated at the end of the day.
1. Within the BB pc software I cant see how to view picture according to thiere respective folders. Also, how do you "multiple select" photos?
2. Accessing the BB filesystem throuh windows (J:homeuserpictures), i can only see one folder even though i have ten, in addition to the Wallpaper folder. I desperatly need to find a wokflow to get thiese pics off within thier proper folders on a daily basis.

Aug 19, 2012I have a few pictures I'd rather no one saw, so I went to 'pictures' and made a new folder called 'backgrounds' and moved it to there and hid the picture. But now when I try to retrieve the pictures I'm going to media -> explore -> media card -> pictures.but it's not showing my 'backgrounds' folder, so I have no option to show hidden.

Apr 6, 2012I was trying to sync the unit with my PC the other day to back -up my contacts and SMS messages when it prompted me to enter a password. I initially keyed-in the password that I inputted to the device when I got surprised that it prompted an error message (I remember my password really well and normally do not have problems with this.). Thinking that since I am syncing my phone device to my PC, it might be prompting for my PC password (as opposed to my phone password), so I also tried my PC password, again an "Incorrect Password" message. Thinking it might be some default password, I also tried 1234 and 12345 and still both failed! Now, I am down to my last try (4/5 tries already), or else "All information will be erased".Is the password being prompted my ORIGINAL phone password? Does syncing the phone with the PC "change" the password of my device to that of my PC? Also, since my password includes numerals, I am now suspecting that I may not have pressed the Alt Key hard enough to properly register the numerals? Although in the past, I didn't really encounter a similar problem keying-in my password that's why all this is a surprise for me.I am tempted to use the touch screen qwerty for my last try to ensure that I am typing in the right password, inclusive of the numerals. I just need a reassurance that the phone password is the same, and that syncing the devise did not change it.

I have followed the prompts in the device and come up an error that states: java.lang.NullPointer Exception. The background subsequently turns black. How do I get it to display the picture. I have never had a problem with any other Blackberry device in this regard.

Aug 26, 2010Maybe I'm not doing it right, but I enable a password on my torch, use the lock button, and when I press the lock button again it unlocks it without asking for the password. Both my 9000 and my 9700 made me enter the password after I hit unlock.
