I have a few pictures I'd rather no one saw, so I went to 'pictures' and made a new folder called 'backgrounds' and moved it to there and hid the picture. But now when I try to retrieve the pictures I'm going to media -> explore -> media card -> pictures.but it's not showing my 'backgrounds' folder, so I have no option to show hidden.

I tested hiding a folder the other day on my storm2. Once it was hidden the picture I hid was still visible under all pictures? Does anyone know why that is happening?

View 3 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else having this problem? Randomly, when I exit an app all of the Apps I have hidden will randomly show up in the springboard. A respring usually fixes this, but the last time I resprung it all of my folders disappeared dumping everything onto the springboard. REALLY annoying. Im trying to figure out what is causing it. Possibly iRealSMS. Anyone else experiencing this?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just installed Kaspersky mobile, and after a scan I've seen more than 18000 jpegs in E:system, a folder that I cannot access from phone or via Nokia Suite. Is there any way I can browse that folder and delete unwanted files? I think I got lots of useless files there after I installed Nokia Belle since lots of applications dissapeared. Also, I'm trying to see the hidden process that runs on my phone and I have no idea how because that dont shows in the application list. I dont know how to free more space on C: , got 46 Mb free and I dont know to free up more space.
View 2 Replies View Relatedwhenever I plug it into my computer or search the Device/System folders manually they are hidden (on the bb) or they are simply not there (when i use the explorer) i hat to format the bb a few times, and the problem gets solved for a few minutes.the deal with this is that when i sync the music, wheter is copy and paste on the explorer music folder in the pc or using the BB desktop manager media sync software, it uses the device space, the music gets actually synced into the device but I cannot access this music from the media library. when i try to it says that there is only 1 song, and its the default one that comes with the cellphone; so I look up in the Files app, Device/System folders and they are all Hidden.
I dont know why this folders are hidden so whenever i wanna have access to my music i have to go to files, device folders, show hidden stuff and finally i can see my songs... the thing is that i have to play one by one and i cannot change or switch apps since its not streaming in the media player....im worried about this, Ive reseted the cellphone, backed up, even formated it at the my computer, blackberry(M) properties..
Back story: I set up my hotmail account in my e-mail application and was never getting any e-mails. A friend of mine told me to try using my gmail account instead, so i added my gmail account to the mail app and deleted my hotmail account. i thought everything was going fine when it said that a new icon would appear on my home screen for this mail account. i waited until the little clock/processing thing was finished and pressed 'ok'. when i went to my home screen, no icon...here are the things i have tried so far:- taking my battery out to restart my phone- resetting my theme, resetting my icons in my theme- googling it; all they are telling me to do is to press 'alt+scroll' and select show icons (when i do this the scrolling voids the alt, and also they keep saying the alt key is a crescent moon which it is not for me)- went to my phone service provider and the girl there said she has had this problem before and would call the girl that helped her, and when i came back she said there was some way to 'show/hide icons but it was impossible to troubleshoot over the phone' aka she was absolutely useless.

I've have even tried doing a factory reset on the phone, and redownloaded all my music. The same issue came up, but with a new group of songs. These songs are not stored in iCloud and are hard files on my iPhone. Â

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a folder with some icons that I hide in gallery. I updated one of the pictures and wanted to show it again and gallery will not show it.
If I go into gallery and click on hide/show album that album shows with a check mark. I click on done and it displays something like hide/show was applied. However, the album never displays.
I have tried deleting the album and putting it back and it will not display. But if I change the name of the album in file explorer it shows. Is there any way to get the original folder to appear in gallery?
I suppose this could be a problem with the entire 5.0 os lineup but I only own a storm 2 so I don't know. I have a hidden video folder. Once you play one of the videos, it hen shows up in the regular video folder in "media". It's in essence added to the list of unhidden videos. Oddly enough I haven't figured out when they finally disappear.....and they do go away. Don't know if it's on a reboot or what.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI had my BB Torch 9800 for few month. Previously used to work fine, all my emails used to show up in message folder. But these days when I receive emails my bb flashes red and it shows on top of the screen emails icon. But when I open my messages folder it shows empty folder without any emails, even though I can see the email icon showing there is emails awaiting. I do aware of this option that, if I press bb menu and then press show all, my email address with my name will show up. With this way I can view received emails. But I don't want to use this option, as I prefer all my emails goes to message folder, that way I can have more space to download other apps.
Note: if i reboot my device all emails shows up in message folder! I don't want to reboot my device everytime I face this problem.
Is there a way to show email from all my differnt folders in one main folder. I use exchange and have rules on my computer that based on who its from it goes to a certain folder. When I view my email on iphone I have to go to each folder individually. Anyway to see all unread mail in one folder?

Blackberry just mashes all the files together in one chaotic list.It would be better if it showed the folders where the voice notes or videos are installed, and allowed you to browse the folders when you go to 'View Videos' or 'View Voice Notes'.I've got a 16GB memory card with hundreds of files.
