BB Curve :: Show Hidden Icons?
Oct 4, 2010Back story: I set up my hotmail account in my e-mail application and was never getting any e-mails. A friend of mine told me to try using my gmail account instead, so i added my gmail account to the mail app and deleted my hotmail account. i thought everything was going fine when it said that a new icon would appear on my home screen for this mail account. i waited until the little clock/processing thing was finished and pressed 'ok'. when i went to my home screen, no icon...here are the things i have tried so far:- taking my battery out to restart my phone- resetting my theme, resetting my icons in my theme- googling it; all they are telling me to do is to press 'alt+scroll' and select show icons (when i do this the scrolling voids the alt, and also they keep saying the alt key is a crescent moon which it is not for me)- went to my phone service provider and the girl there said she has had this problem before and would call the girl that helped her, and when i came back she said there was some way to 'show/hide icons but it was impossible to troubleshoot over the phone' aka she was absolutely useless.

Jun 24, 2014There are many artists/songs that do not appear in my Music app. I know they're on the iPhone because I'm able to play them using Siri.
Ex. (Billy Joel is nowhere to be found in any of the Music tabs - if I ask Siri "Play Billy Joel" she has no trouble finding it.
I've have even tried doing a factory reset on the phone, and redownloaded all my music. The same issue came up, but with a new group of songs. These songs are not stored in iCloud and are hard files on my iPhone.

But now when I try to retrieve the pictures I'm going to media -> explore -> media card -> pictures.but it's not showing my 'backgrounds' folder, so I have no option to show hidden.

Feb 26, 2015I have a folder with some icons that I hide in gallery. I updated one of the pictures and wanted to show it again and gallery will not show it.
If I go into gallery and click on hide/show album that album shows with a check mark. I click on done and it displays something like hide/show was applied. However, the album never displays.
I have tried deleting the album and putting it back and it will not display. But if I change the name of the album in file explorer it shows. Is there any way to get the original folder to appear in gallery?
BB Storm2 9550/9520 :: Hidden Videos Show Once Played
Feb 20, 2010I suppose this could be a problem with the entire 5.0 os lineup but I only own a storm 2 so I don't know. I have a hidden video folder. Once you play one of the videos, it hen shows up in the regular video folder in "media". It's in essence added to the list of unhidden videos. Oddly enough I haven't figured out when they finally disappear.....and they do go away. Don't know if it's on a reboot or what.

May 17, 2015I have strange error today on my S6, i was taking a picture and go to quick view , when its open i only have one picture in side, no folder with Camera (295 photos in side) no Facebook (56 photo) only that picture what i take that moment. Then i explore folders (DCIM/camera) and all photos and video are there but my gallery only see this last one.
I tray to rename folder name and when i shoot new picture he make new folder (Camera) and i can see picture that i take, now i copy from old folder to this new, and still i don't see other picture,

Dec 10, 2014i have some photos that i tried to remove from my phone that also had duplicates. the copies deleted fine but the originals i cannot delete at all for some reason so i decided to put them into a hidden file thinking i wouldnt see them again. lemme tell you how shocked i was and upset my new girlfriend was when she saw pictures of my ex on my phone that i still havent been able to delete!!

Dec 5, 2011My girlfriend accidentally left her phone with me today. So i decided to put in some pictures of us together since all she had was photos taken off the monitor of her computer. Thought it would be sweet and all until i unplugged the USB and went to the pictures. A lot of pictures all of a sudden showed up that weren't there before. One of them was not mine. So obviously she was cheating on me. When i switched the SIM card and put in into my phone i accidentally lost the pictures and can't seem to get them back. Also, this does not work:
* Go into your Media icon, hit the menu button, and choose Explore * Navigate to the folder where the pictures are located at * Once you're in the folder, hit the menu button, and choose Show Hidden * All of the hidden pictures will appear as being dimmed out * Once you find the picture, select it, hit the menu button, go into Properties * Uncheck the "Hidden" box When i do that only one image shows. We're talking about a whole album here thats hidden?

Jun 27, 2012I recently added a new app to my phone, upon completion of installation of app I noticed that all my pictures were missing. At first I thought they got deleted and was really upset but upon exploration I have found them. When I go into the media file and go to explore it brings up my device memory then I go to home where there is nothing but I can hide the user folder but when I go into the properties of the user folder I can not unhide it because the hidden button is greyed out. Does anyone know how to change this or fix this? I would really like to have it back to normal! Again I don't have a memory card it is just the user file on the device memory that will not unhide

Sometimes the lower portion, which can vary from 50-80% of the original photo is white; other times it is gray. Sometimes the lower half of the photo is a ghost from another photo.
