View 1 RepliesI recently added a new app to my phone, upon completion of installation of app I noticed that all my pictures were missing. At first I thought they got deleted and was really upset but upon exploration I have found them. When I go into the media file and go to explore it brings up my device memory then I go to home where there is nothing but I can hide the user folder but when I go into the properties of the user folder I can not unhide it because the hidden button is greyed out. Does anyone know how to change this or fix this? I would really like to have it back to normal! Again I don't have a memory card it is just the user file on the device memory that will not unhide
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow do I set files on media card to show hidden files permanently?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAll my media files on the memory card are hidden. When i select any of the options in Media menu, I can only access the item that have been saved onto phone memory. All the files/folders that where on the memory card have dissapereard.
When i am in Explore mode and select the Show Hidden option, I can see all my previous files/folders. All the folders on the mem card have been hidden, and thus my device cant access the files.
How do i change this attribute permanatley, restore it to what it was.
So I checked the box to hide files on my media card but it seems that I can't get them back - I am using 5.0.0.423 and the "explore" option is not present when I click the menu button under "media". Any other ideas?

View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently I have been unable to view my media files although my memory (internal 8gb) isalmost full. Each time I take a picture or a video I am able to import it onto my PC but I am unable to view it on my phone.I have a 9900 and do not have a memory card. Numerous battery pulls have not resolved this issue. When I go to Media/Pictures or videos in both cases it shows that I have no pictures or videos.I cannot view them once I have taken them and of course I cannot delete them to make clear some space.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently bought my girlfriend a 8520 Curve. Not even a week later she told me that she had uploaded 40 songs onto it and only 6 where showing when she went to her music player. I couldn't find anything on the actual phone, so plugged it into my computer. There I found that the BlackBerry folder on the media card was hidden. I tried going properties unhide, which work on all the other folders, but it didn't work.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI put photos into hidden mode and now I cant access them. To be honest I didn't know what I was doing i just didnt want my son who plays games on my phone looking at them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy girlfriend accidentally left her phone with me today. So i decided to put in some pictures of us together since all she had was photos taken off the monitor of her computer. Thought it would be sweet and all until i unplugged the USB and went to the pictures. A lot of pictures all of a sudden showed up that weren't there before. One of them was not mine. So obviously she was cheating on me. When i switched the SIM card and put in into my phone i accidentally lost the pictures and can't seem to get them back. Also, this does not work:
* Go into your Media icon, hit the menu button, and choose Explore * Navigate to the folder where the pictures are located at * Once you're in the folder, hit the menu button, and choose Show Hidden * All of the hidden pictures will appear as being dimmed out * Once you find the picture, select it, hit the menu button, go into Properties * Uncheck the "Hidden" box When i do that only one image shows. We're talking about a whole album here thats hidden?
I can't access the hidden folders & files on my BB 8520 from my PC, I can access them on my phone but not when I connect to it via my PC.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI charged my phone with the usb cable 2 days ago and when I unplugged it all my music, videos and pictures are not visible. I removed my battery and sd card a few times but still no luck. However, if I plug it back into the computer and go the normal route - my computer, blackberry, then all my files on the sd card are visible. I cannot view it on my phone anymore..
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to sync media files. I've downloaded Blackberry Media Sync and when connected, all I get is a message "Please connect a Blackberry device". I have Compression on "enabled", Memory Card Support, Media Transfer, Mass Storage all "on", and switched Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected to "Yes". I've tried every USB on my computer, turned the phone off, on, etc. It doesn't seem to recognize that the BB is connected.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have several image and music files on my BlackBerry and have regularly made use of each (I have had this BlackBerry for just shy of 2 months), using my windows laptop to transfer the files via the USB cable.Today, however, when I plugged in the USB cable and went into the BlackBerry's folder on my laptop, all the subfolders appeared only as shortcuts (although they still worked fine) and after disconnecting, my BlackBerry seems entirely unable to locate anything I have saved on there. I even tried taking a new photo and the device immediately "lost" it.
