View 5 Replieshave a BB 9300 curve an downloaded music files to the music folder. Everything played and was working fine.I then uploaded and deleted some music files through the bb pc software via the usb cable. Now everything seems corrupted and none works properly. The files are in the play list, but I can't play or delete them. The main screen also shows that there are 12 songs in the library, but there are only 8 (of which none work)
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to move music files from the media card to the device memory. I have accessed Blackberry website and followed the instructions but my menu does not give the option to 'Move'. This is a replacement handset and apparently software etc has been upgraded since I got the previous one 7 months ago. I want to use music as a ring tone (I am also having problems downloading music but that's another story). Can anyone out there help as I am at the point where I might just flush the thing down the loo and go back to a basic mobile!

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the Bundle update, but still every so often, when I get a notification it is not in a tone I have set. I check the storage and none of my files are shown: pics or sounds.
So I battery pull it, and it's fine. But then later on, it can just go again. I have a Lexar 16gb card in the phone. What's causing this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAll my media files on the memory card are hidden. When i select any of the options in Media menu, I can only access the item that have been saved onto phone memory. All the files/folders that where on the memory card have dissapereard.
When i am in Explore mode and select the Show Hidden option, I can see all my previous files/folders. All the folders on the mem card have been hidden, and thus my device cant access the files.
How do i change this attribute permanatley, restore it to what it was.
So I checked the box to hide files on my media card but it seems that I can't get them back - I am using 5.0.0.423 and the "explore" option is not present when I click the menu button under "media". Any other ideas?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI put a couple of albums on a Mirco SD card and inserted it into my Xoom. The card shows up under /mnt/external1The albums are there and I can select each song individually and play them using the default "Music" player, RockPlayer, or Winamp. What I can't figure out is how to get any of those Media Players to read from the SD Card automatically?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to transfer music files from my device memory to my media card, I have read that I need to go to Media>Explore - which I have managed to do in the past. I tried doing it recently and I can not find the Explore option.
View 7 Replies View RelatedOk, media card was working fine, had alot of work pictures stored on it and was becoming a hassle to hunt through all of them to find what I wanted. So, I inserted media card in computer and transfered what I wanted to a folder on the computer. Then I formatted the card using the computer. When I put the card back into the phone, the phone knows its there, but I must have wiped the card completely as none of the folders for video, pics, etc. are on it anymore. If I take a picture and go to find it, the media card does not even show up, just device memory.
Does anybody have a remedy for this? I already tried formatting the card in the phone but that didn't work. The phone is telling me in the memory options that 1.8GB is free, so I know it works, it just lost the folders or whatever........
I plugged my USB cable into my laptop and when I unplugged it I can't see my media files
View 2 Replies View RelatedI charged my phone with the usb cable 2 days ago and when I unplugged it all my music, videos and pictures are not visible. I removed my battery and sd card a few times but still no luck. However, if I plug it back into the computer and go the normal route - my computer, blackberry, then all my files on the sd card are visible. I cannot view it on my phone anymore..
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to sync media files. I've downloaded Blackberry Media Sync and when connected, all I get is a message "Please connect a Blackberry device". I have Compression on "enabled", Memory Card Support, Media Transfer, Mass Storage all "on", and switched Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected to "Yes". I've tried every USB on my computer, turned the phone off, on, etc. It doesn't seem to recognize that the BB is connected.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have several image and music files on my BlackBerry and have regularly made use of each (I have had this BlackBerry for just shy of 2 months), using my windows laptop to transfer the files via the USB cable.Today, however, when I plugged in the USB cable and went into the BlackBerry's folder on my laptop, all the subfolders appeared only as shortcuts (although they still worked fine) and after disconnecting, my BlackBerry seems entirely unable to locate anything I have saved on there. I even tried taking a new photo and the device immediately "lost" it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently added a new app to my phone, upon completion of installation of app I noticed that all my pictures were missing. At first I thought they got deleted and was really upset but upon exploration I have found them. When I go into the media file and go to explore it brings up my device memory then I go to home where there is nothing but I can hide the user folder but when I go into the properties of the user folder I can not unhide it because the hidden button is greyed out. Does anyone know how to change this or fix this? I would really like to have it back to normal! Again I don't have a memory card it is just the user file on the device memory that will not unhide
