I have just gone onto the media section on my blackberry curve and for some reason all of the pictures taken before November have just been wiped off. Can anyone tell me the reason for this and if I can get them back, they are really important to me

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got the N8 & can't add mp4 or mkv files to my mass media, I've tried other formats aswell avi, divx, I've even copied the mp4 movie trailer that you get already on the phone from my pc back to the phone & it's still getting an error message.
I can get windows media/audio file to work, but that's it.
I have about 10GB worth of music (which I have back up off so I don't care for it) but 2.5GB worth of pictures on my card, which I very do! How to get those back??
I WILL 100% have all of them back up to GOOGLE as I capture them from now on.
The card has about 130 folders (0 byte each) called " µ " now.
"Music" folder is gone whats so ever (but I have that backed up)
I seem to have lost my shsh identifying files on my I Phone 3gs when I updated to 5.0. Do I have to downgrade? how can I restore?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI charged my phone with the usb cable 2 days ago and when I unplugged it all my music, videos and pictures are not visible. I removed my battery and sd card a few times but still no luck. However, if I plug it back into the computer and go the normal route - my computer, blackberry, then all my files on the sd card are visible. I cannot view it on my phone anymore..
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to sync media files. I've downloaded Blackberry Media Sync and when connected, all I get is a message "Please connect a Blackberry device". I have Compression on "enabled", Memory Card Support, Media Transfer, Mass Storage all "on", and switched Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected to "Yes". I've tried every USB on my computer, turned the phone off, on, etc. It doesn't seem to recognize that the BB is connected.

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday i was running out of charge and didn't have the charger - a colleague had a charger cable connected to his PC, so i charged my phone through this cable.Next thing i know - i open the pictures folder and i only see the pictures stored on the device - which were taken ages ago. All pictures, videos and voice notes that were on the media card are gone.I took a picture just to see where it gets saved - it mentioned "saved on media card". I open the picture folder and it's not there.
I tried the trick of choosing "view pictures" through the camera - nothing. went to Options - memory - and the media card IS recognized, and says "total size 900 MB, Free space 700 MB).Now something weird happened - i went to the pictures folder and "created a new folder". It got created on the media card and now it shows. And thus, any picture i take and i save on THIS folder - it appears in the "all pictures" folder normally.
I recently lost my SD card to my blackberry 9810 and am attempting to restore the files onto a new SD card to a computer. I had automatic backups set up from the Blackberry desktop manager and Blackberry protect. I was under the assumption that these backups also backed up information on the SD card. Unfortunatley, when I tried to restore my phone using a blackberry desktop no old files where restored to my new SD card.I have read an old post that says the automatic backups do not backup SD card documents but am unsure if that is still true.Is there anyway I could restore the files using the backups?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have several image and music files on my BlackBerry and have regularly made use of each (I have had this BlackBerry for just shy of 2 months), using my windows laptop to transfer the files via the USB cable.Today, however, when I plugged in the USB cable and went into the BlackBerry's folder on my laptop, all the subfolders appeared only as shortcuts (although they still worked fine) and after disconnecting, my BlackBerry seems entirely unable to locate anything I have saved on there. I even tried taking a new photo and the device immediately "lost" it.

At first I thought they got deleted and was really upset but upon exploration I have found them. When I go into the media file and go to explore it brings up my device memory then I go to home where there is nothing but I can hide the user folder but when I go into the properties of the user folder I can not unhide it because the hidden button is greyed out. Does anyone know how to change this or fix this? I would really like to have it back to normal! Again I don't have a memory card it is just the user file on the device memory that will not unhide

View 3 Replies View Relatedive owned the 9320 for about a month now and this morning its deicded to not play any sound, at all.Ive not changed any setting, ive also checked that I havent muted the phone, its using its normal sound scheme, which I have been using this past month or so.It also isnt playing any media files, I have a few of my mp3's saved to the phone to the listen to, any time I try to open a song, I get an error saying device cant read file.

When the phone came back on, it connected just fine, but all of my saved media (pictures, music, videos) was gone. The media was all saved on the device and we use a BES at my office. Any chance of recovering the lost media? Phone seems to be working just fine--just don't have any pictures or videos left.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI synced songs from itune and ripped the ones that I could not sync. I got rid of itunes, and then migrated from my 8330 to my new 8530. The music came over to the new 8530 just fine. I cannot get the media files moved to my computer (not all of them anyway), and I cannot see the files on the BB or on my computer when it is connected in mass storage mode.

Everything played and was working fine.I then uploaded and deleted some music files through the bb pc software via the usb cable. Now everything seems corrupted and none works properly. The files are in the play list, but I can't play or delete them. The main screen also shows that there are 12 songs in the library, but there are only 8 (of which none work)
