BB Curve :: Have Lost My Files
Jun 28, 2011I pressed Alt LGLG and cleared all logs,now I lost my music and pictures and evertime when I take a picture I don't know where its stored. can't I get my music and pictures back?

Dec 30, 2011I have just gone onto the media section on my blackberry curve and for some reason all of the pictures taken before November have just been wiped off. Can anyone tell me the reason for this and if I can get them back, they are really important to me

Jan 4, 2015I have about 10GB worth of music (which I have back up off so I don't care for it) but 2.5GB worth of pictures on my card, which I very do! How to get those back??
I WILL 100% have all of them back up to GOOGLE as I capture them from now on.
The card has about 130 folders (0 byte each) called " µ " now.
"Music" folder is gone whats so ever (but I have that backed up)

Jun 11, 2015for some reason a selection of music files (not all) has gone from my PC even tho the folders are still showing there. However, the files are still on my Xperia Z3 SD card, and play fine, but I can't trasfer them from there back to my PC... it is weird! I have tried moving them via PC Companion and Media Go, but no luck.Is there any other way of pulling the files back to my PC?

Mar 12, 2012In the process of preparing my Xoom for its return to Motorola for an LTE upgrade, I attempted to backup up "Internal Storage" to two different Windows XP machines. Despite numerous hard resets of the Xoom and numerous restarts of the XP machines, I had numerous problems in successfully copying all files. Despite selecting all folders, less than half would transfer during copy/paste. At least one file name in the "Android" folder was too long for Windows XP, but I didn't have time to find it(them). Moreover, 14gb of files disappeared from my external SD card, as did several folders from the internal SD card. I am an above-average computer user, and have never had this kind of trouble

Oct 27, 2011I'm completely new to Nokia. I have 2 nokia e71 for me and my wife. I had trouble starting the ovi store so decided to reinstall it. Later it wouldn't start at all. Going through both phones, I realized that I was Missing 11 files in the installations folder. The phone works except for the ovi store but I don't want to run into problems later because of missing files. They are Nokia Ovi Provisioner, Open C Glibrary, Open C libssl, Symbian os pipes, Symbian os pips, Symbian os stdioser, Open C libssl common, pips installer, ovi Store Launcher and ovi store client. How do I reinstall all this stuff? Where do I find it?

Apr 9, 2012I recently lost my SD card to my blackberry 9810 and am attempting to restore the files onto a new SD card to a computer. I had automatic backups set up from the Blackberry desktop manager and Blackberry protect. I was under the assumption that these backups also backed up information on the SD card. Unfortunatley, when I tried to restore my phone using a blackberry desktop no old files where restored to my new SD card.I have read an old post that says the automatic backups do not backup SD card documents but am unsure if that is still true.Is there anyway I could restore the files using the backups?

Jun 20, 2011New Blackberry Curve 9330 user.. all was going well until I downloaded a theme from Blackberry App World.. suddenly if I go to menu, Options.. all it opens up is the folder of themes.I finally got back to orig theme, deleted the downloaded theme, but my Options go no where now.Very afraid I've busted my new phone! Mar 23, 2011I have a Curve 8530 and I have never had any problems with it until now. I was using the txt app and then out of nowhere the app disappeared. I had it set to the button on the right side of the phone as well as on the home screen. I have looked in all folders and tried pushing the side button many times now and I cannot find it anywhere. I cannot recieve sms txts anymore, although i can recieve MMS. Somehow I can go to the compose app and still send a sms though. I went into the message app and went options, general options, SMS and Email Inboxes, and then set that to combined hoping to solve issue, and thats where my MMS are now located, but none of the SMS.

I have a music collection at home I would like to listen to on my BB as an mp3 player.
I have my collection stored in FLAC files, however, I have also converted it all to 320kbs MP3s.
My question is, what is the best way to put these files on my BB? Use the BB Media Sync/Media Manager? Use an application like Winamp? or should i skip putting files on my phone entirely and use winamp remote?
I have an 8GB memory card in my phone. This should hold all the music I actually listen to. So I will need to filter out some crap that belongs to family members. (I store all the music on a server at home for my whole family)
BB Curve 83xx :: How Do I Find .jad Files?
Jan 16, 2010I have bb8330, no BES, no BIS, do have BB data plan and am using opera mini. I have to download apps to my bb using ota downloader. It will only download .jad files. I have had several links sent to my email address so I can download them with ota downloader using my DM, but they are not .jad urls and do not work? How do I find the .jad file or url? Once I load these 3rd party apps, will they work for me? The one I want in particular is Viigo. Will it work without a BB browser? I am using opera mini 4.2. I might also add that I can not find a media manager file in my DM. I have searched the DM and the BB CD for a media manager, but can not find it in either one.
