I downloaded some wallpaper files which landed on the media card!I can't access them but once somehow I was able to see the files - so they are there.I'm on a Mac so no DM at this time.Is there a way I can delete these as I'm unable to search the media card.

when i plug my torch into my pc, there are no pictures in the "pictures" tab of the desktop view all have been sync. when i unplugg my torch i then have 2000+ pics on my media card . how do i delete these all at one time?

View 12 Replies View RelatedAll my media files on the memory card are hidden. When i select any of the options in Media menu, I can only access the item that have been saved onto phone memory. All the files/folders that where on the memory card have dissapereard.
When i am in Explore mode and select the Show Hidden option, I can see all my previous files/folders. All the folders on the mem card have been hidden, and thus my device cant access the files.
How do i change this attribute permanatley, restore it to what it was.
Any Way if my Voice Notes on my corrupted media card are recoverable? Most of the other media (photos and MP3 and MP4 files) have been recovered more or less intact in the CRP_Cache, but no sign of the Voice Notes AMR files. Are they recovered to a particular cache folder?

Every time I put all of my music onto it then put it in my phone, it wipes all my music files off straight away. I checked if they were hidden by putting my SD Card back into the computer but they are actually getting deleted. I have tried some basic things (formatting the card, power on and off, etc) but I'm not having much luck.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to add some ringtones to my Torch. They are there and I can see them in the file manager or when I sync to my Mac. But when I go to the ringtones folder, they are not listed. There is an option to select music for a ringtone, so I put the mp3 file in the music folder along with other music files, but none show up.
The same thing happens when I take pictures with the phone. If I look at the pictures folder, it says no pictures. But if I go through file manager to the media card, I can see the pictures.
I recently had to wipe out my BB completely and my office IT restored the main databases.Unfortunately, I now have to reinstall again all my third party applications that I used to have (the backup file I have in my personal PC does not show the applications so I can restore them).Looking at the folders in my media card, I realize I have a lot of files related to those previous applications and wonder if I should delete them before installing the same applications again. Or do I need those files there?

I can delete these photos one by one following directions in the Guide but it does not make sense to repeat this step 150 times and there must be a quicker way to go about it.
What I want to do is to delete the entire contents of that Pictures Folder in one step. I have looked into the BB Torch User Guide Ver 6.0 and in Help for the BB Desktop Software and have not found any directions on deleting entire folders or multiple files in a folder in one step.
So I checked the box to hide files on my media card but it seems that I can't get them back - I am using 5.0.0.423 and the "explore" option is not present when I click the menu button under "media". Any other ideas?

Everything played and was working fine.I then uploaded and deleted some music files through the bb pc software via the usb cable. Now everything seems corrupted and none works properly. The files are in the play list, but I can't play or delete them. The main screen also shows that there are 12 songs in the library, but there are only 8 (of which none work)

I tried configuring for hours but syncing still comes up trying to delete entries more than few months old, which I want to keep. I tried 'upcoming entries only' (then it wants to delete over 1000 entries!!) and can't get the 'advanced' filters option to make any difference.

I have accessed Blackberry website and followed the instructions but my menu does not give the option to 'Move'. This is a replacement handset and apparently software etc has been upgraded since I got the previous one 7 months ago. I have BBDesktop 6 installed, the phone is connected via USB directly to the laptop, and all of the Media Sync options say:"You need to turn on mass storage mode from the connected BlackBerry device to use this feature."
I see no such configuration option on the phone.Also, in Windows file manager, the SD and USB drives appear as removable drives E: and F:, but they are unaccessible: "Please insert disk in drive.."
Recently recived a Blackberry Torch 9810. It had been working fine but yesterday I purchased a new 4g simcard and a 4gig memory card and now media files I download won't show up the only time I can see them is when it's plugged into the computer.
