I have quite recently purchased a curve 8250. i have a problem that i can't find where my pictures are being saved. there are definately on there as when i go to download one again it says that it already exists but i cant find it. i had the same problem with music for a while but then the missing songs just appeared one day!

when i save a contact (mobile number), then later on or a few hours later, i cannot find that contact saved in my address book. this has hapenned multiple times to me.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have created folders on my media card to store pictures. I can't find them - the folders or the pictures. The only folders I can find seem to be the album art that automatically downloads itself when I add music to my BB 8330. I can't find any of my pictures besides the ones that automatically placed themselves on the camera memory.
How can I make it so the pictures go to a folder on my memory card, completely skipping the camera memory? And then how can I find these individual folders? And THEN how can I stop the album art, which doesn't actually show up but makes its own folder on the BB.
This is becoming very frustrating as I thought I had followed a thread here on Crackberry and obviously have screwed something up. I hope these pictures are still there. I just can't get to them.
This morning I remember still being able to access my media folder through the Media folder, but now, I can't find the music icon anywhere, and when I mean everywhere, I mean like every folder on my phone. I'm still trying to get a hang of my software upgrade [6.0 Bundle 2342]. I can still search "music" and the music icon magically comes up on search and I can play my music, but I can't seem to find the icon anywhere else besides that...What should I do?

I accidentally hide an image on their and I was wondering how to find it, I was able to find some images on my media card that I had saved from text messages or imported from my computer, I was also able to find a hidden folder I had just made to test it out, but I'm unable to locate the missing picture.

I checked where they are supposed to be stored and everything is right: Media Card/Blackberry/pictures, but still nothing gets displayed! I know its not a problem with the camera, because I can see these new pix if I press menu biutton on Media/explore/media card/blackberry/pictures - but thats so annoying to look at pix this way!!! This phone is like a month old, and I really dont wanna go through the hassle of replacing it. So does any1 know what I should do to fix this problem?

Numerous battery pulls have not resolved this issue.When I go to Media/Pictures or videos in both cases it shows that I have no pictures or videos.I cannot view them once I have taken them and of course I cannot delete them to make clear some space.

Since that I only have one glitch, the media folder is called net_rim_bb_file_explorer.Media I assume that's the internal name, not the display name, anyone knows how to rename it?? I have the 32GB model and it's unrooted/stock with no sim card installed yet. I just wanted to try some videos, music, and pictures to get a feel for the screen and speakers. My micro USB cord is fine and when it's plugged in the PC I can see the media is in the MXPE's folders and taking up space. I turn the phone on and off, try putting them on different folders but no matter I can't find it. I removed a file called .nomedia but that didn't work. I tried transfer through both MTP and PTP but no go. It appears Android is keeping them hidden from me.
I have apps with files in the app. Wonder if they are saved in the backup?

My new X6 arrived today. My initial reaction was fairly positive but I have a few questions and would be grateful for some advice please.First off, my old phone (N95) had an extremely handy Home Media Server feature. I would've thought the X6 would have something similar considering it is a multi-media type device. However, i'm unable to find such a feature. Could someone advise if Nokia have dropped the HMS for this model please?
Also, most of my passwords for internet logons and email etc were all created using a generator with random letters, numbers and characters. On my N95, I was able to copy/paste this info and save a lot of time when setting up mail accounts and other apps. I know the X6 does support copy/paste but the paste option isn't present for many password boxes. Is there a way around this please?

The problem that I am having is the messages that were sent to my tmo.blackberry email address that are saved to my phone I cannot find to save to a computer. I have tried forwarding the saved messages to another email address but when I do I get a red "X" and it says "Unlisted message error". Any help would be appreciated, I am going through a nasty divorce and I need all of these messages for court.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had my bb for about 10 months, at first everything was fine and i recorded videos and had them saved on my media card, about a month ago i recorded a video and then couldn't find it but when i connected my device to pc it showed uo, and yesterday i recorded several videos at my friend's wed and didn't find them even after connecting it to my pc, i tried recording again and after pausing i noticed the amount of memory taken shows 0 kb!!! it shocked me.
