I'm need help in changing my avatar on my Blackberry Torch. I can only use the pre set ones. I've downloaded a picture to my phone. It goes in my pictures, under the avatar icon. can click on it but won't save as bbm icon.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI buyed sony ericsson xperia mini pro few months back. at that time i synced my contacts with facebook with facebook app. And i got all my friend's profile pictures as my contact pictures. But now when i changed my memory card i also formated my phone. I took backup of contacts on sim card. after installing new memory card i imported my contacts back to phone and synced facebook once again with my phone contacts. This time they got synced too but their facebook profile pics are not becoming my contact pictures. I also tried enabling facebook inside xperia but still it didn't worked. I want to get them done as quickly as possible.

I have a tiny picture 125 x 124 2.32KB that I wanted to use for wallpaper, but when I try to set it as such it becomes so huge and distorted on the screen. So what do I need to do to use it as wallpaper, or is it because it's such a tiny picture to begin with that I will be unable to use it for wallpaper?Ok, I see that I can upload a picture here, so here's the picture I wanted to use for my wallpaper.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9850 and when I used to send pics to a friend through BBM they would get the option to preview, save or cancel; in turn, I would receive the same option. When I clicked "save" it would download the full 1-2MB version of the pic in BBM, saving it to my picture folder. Yesterday they bought the same phone (Torch 9850) and now when either of us send a pic, neither of us have the option or are given the opportunity to download the actual picture file?!? We simply get a low quality 30KB image with no option other than to go to the BB file menu and click "save" which saves not the full high quality image, but the 30kb one we just received.

I have followed the prompts in the device and come up an error that states: java.lang.NullPointer Exception. The background subsequently turns black. How do I get it to display the picture. View 1 Replies View RelatedIn the last few weeks I've been having issues with MMS - I used to be able to send and recieve MMS fine, and it was instant, but now when I try and send an MMS it fails for no apparent reason. I thought it may have been because of picture size or phone capatbibility, but the sizes are fine and I've sent pictures to these people before so it can't be to do with their mobile. Also when I receive MMS it takes ages to download, and it used to be instant. I've checked all my settings with MMS and encryption and they all seem fine.
Also, recently when I upload photos to facebook they either don't upload or they don't show in my news feed. Is that a mobile thing, or a facebook thing? I've tried asking people at facebook about this and no replies as of yet. Again, checked all my settings, they seem fine.
I can't send or receive picture messages, use email, or login to faceable.
2 degrees sent me the instructions below. Seams crazy it says that on most blackberries you wont be able to use data functions or send picture messages - is there any way around this. I can't follow the instructions - must be for a different phone and the first link doesn't even work.For facebook I want it to connect using my home wireless but it just says it can't use my data plan - which I do not have or want to use.

My bbm picture will not change. When I go to change my picture it will allow me to choose one and save it, yet on my friend's phones my picture has not changed. I have no problem seeing other people pictures or updated pictures.
