Jan 7, 2016How to save a pic sent to me via SMS using the stock Marshmallow messaging app? I'm not sure if it's related to the actual messaging app or related to the app that views the pic once you've tapped on it. I.E the Media Player, Google's Photo's or MOTO's Gallery app.

Oct 20, 2015This is my first smartphone and I'm an Android noob. I spent an hour on Google searching how to properly transfer media to Android devices and tried different things but to no use.
I have the 32GB model and it's unrooted/stock with no sim card installed yet. I just wanted to try some videos, music, and pictures to get a feel for the screen and speakers. My micro USB cord is fine and when it's plugged in the PC I can see the media is in the MXPE's folders and taking up space. I turn the phone on and off, try putting them on different folders but no matter I can't find it. I removed a file called .nomedia but that didn't work. I tried transfer through both MTP and PTP but no go. It appears Android is keeping them hidden from me.

Dec 31, 2015I'm completely unable to use any of my personal ringtones that are on my SD in facebook messenger, they just don't show up I've got them in the right folders as far as I know and all my other devices worked fine, I put my SD card in my phone as phone memory when it asked and now I cannot access my internal memory with astro or any other file explorer so I'm unable to move these ringtones to my internal memory to test there... Every other program shows all my ringtones this one doesn't....

Dec 19, 2015I have Straight Talk, and need to adjust my APN settings so I'll get high speed data. I know what the correct settings are.
The problem is that I need to change MVNO type and MVNO value, but they're both grayed out, so I'm unable to tap on them to change them. MVNO type is grayed out and set to GID and MVNO value is grayed out and set to deff. I need to change them both to 'not set'.
I called Motorola, they were useless- kept telling me to make sure cellular data was enabled. I looked at my old phone (a Nexus 5) and MVNO type isn't grayed out on it.

Sep 16, 2012I buyed sony ericsson xperia mini pro few months back. at that time i synced my contacts with facebook with facebook app. And i got all my friend's profile pictures as my contact pictures. But now when i changed my memory card i also formated my phone. I took backup of contacts on sim card. after installing new memory card i imported my contacts back to phone and synced facebook once again with my phone contacts. This time they got synced too but their facebook profile pics are not becoming my contact pictures. I also tried enabling facebook inside xperia but still it didn't worked. I want to get them done as quickly as possible.

Jul 21, 2012My trackball was smashed today on my blackberry curve, (beyond repair I will need a new phone) the rest of the phone works. I know how to get to my messages with the short cut, but how do I scroll through each one, and when I am in a message is is possible to scroll while in a message? I have two picture mails that need to be viewed and sent to my e-mail. FYI- when I enter the messages using the short-cut "M" it puts me on the date so I cannot move, hitting the enter key defaults me to send an e-mail!!!

I have following three mail accounts configured with my device;
1) Enterprise/ Office Mail ID (Folder Named as Desktop)
2) Yahoo Mail ID (Folder Named as Yahoo)
3) GMail ID (Folder Named as GMail)
Now in the Messages, Yahoo & SMS Folders; I am only able to view the mails from office mail id. The Messages folder which ideally comprise of messages from all the folders shows only the messages of the Desktop. Similarly for the Yahoo Folder. I am even not able to view my SMS in the SMS & MMS Folder.

Mar 23, 2011I have a Torch 9850 and when I used to send pics to a friend through BBM they would get the option to preview, save or cancel; in turn, I would receive the same option. When I clicked "save" it would download the full 1-2MB version of the pic in BBM, saving it to my picture folder. Yesterday they bought the same phone (Torch 9850) and now when either of us send a pic, neither of us have the option or are given the opportunity to download the actual picture file?!? We simply get a low quality 30KB image with no option other than to go to the BB file menu and click "save" which saves not the full high quality image, but the 30kb one we just received.
