Apr 16, 2012How do I unhide grayed out folders after connecting my phone to a pc? All other folders are unhideable except the blackberry folder.

Apr 3, 2011I inadvertently hid some media folders, including some photos, videos, ringtones, and documents, and now can't get them back... I tried Media/Explore/Show All/Properties, but the "Unhide" checkbox is grayed out.

Aug 15, 2010Anyone able to hide or unhide (since one seemed to have vanished on me) their picture folders? I had a folder, ticked the hide button but it was still able to be seen. Battery pull (for a different issue) and than the folder is gone and have no idea how one would get it back.It's not like on the 9700.

Dec 7, 2011My cousins managed to "hide" all the icons associated with my email accounts and now I can't seem to unhide them. When i highlight the "hidden" icon and press the button to open up the menu no menu comes up. But it works with other icons, I press the button to call up the menu and it works (i can even hide and unhide other icons at will)

Dec 27, 2015When I hook my phone up to my computer by USB to transfer files, it recognizes the phone like it did before but shows nothing on it. Not even the basic folders. Just a totally blank window in Windows Explorer.
Even worse, when I go into Settings on my phone (whether I'm connected at the time or not), and try to tap on "USB Computer Connection" it says "Settings has stopped responding." Every time. Even after a reboot and whether I currently have it connected by USB or not. So its clearly not Windows that's the problem here..

Dec 5, 2011From the research that I have done, it appears that I can add, move, delete or rename email folders on my blackberry device only if I have the enterprise version of the operating system. Is there any way to be able to organize my messages on my device other than a huge inbox as a personal (not enterprise) user?If possible I'd like to synchronize my folders, but I'd settle to just be able to create my own folders on my blackberry for organization purposes.Maybe it's just me, but this seems like a huge weakness when comparing to other types of mobile devices.

Jun 7, 2011I have over 150 photos in the Pictures Folder on my Blackberry Torch 9800 and after importing them to my PC, I want to delete them from my BB to regain space and memory.. I can delete these photos one by one following directions in the Guide but it does not make sense to repeat this step 150 times and there must be a quicker way to go about it.
What I want to do is to delete the entire contents of that Pictures Folder in one step. I have looked into the BB Torch User Guide Ver 6.0 and in Help for the BB Desktop Software and have not found any directions on deleting entire folders or multiple files in a folder in one step.

Jan 15, 2012I need to be able to take photos for work, but it is also requisite to keep them arranged in specific folders so I know what they are and can be coalated at the end of the day.
1. Within the BB pc software I cant see how to view picture according to thiere respective folders. Also, how do you "multiple select" photos?
2. Accessing the BB filesystem throuh windows (J:homeuserpictures), i can only see one folder even though i have ten, in addition to the Wallpaper folder. I desperatly need to find a wokflow to get thiese pics off within thier proper folders on a daily basis.

But now when I try to retrieve the pictures I'm going to media -> explore -> media card -> pictures.but it's not showing my 'backgrounds' folder, so I have no option to show hidden.

They are paired with my blackberry and was working just fine until my phone alerted me that there was a software update to my phone and I have done it. May 7, 2011I work at a remote mine site for 2 weeks at a time and when i come here i don't have any cell service BUT i do keep in contact with family and friends through BBM (connecting through wifi.) NOW last time i was on my two weeks off my phone was acting slow, so i looked up how to speed it up and read that if i download some version of whatever ".246" from what i was running at the time ".144" it would speed up my phone.. I didnt install it just downloaded it on my two weeks off while i was in cell phone coverage area but when i got to camp i decided to install this upgraded program overnight while i was sleeping. When i woke up it shows i am connected to a wifi signal and i can access the internet browser and that all works fine like normally BUT it wont let me connect through bbm. it says that BBM is not connected to a network.. It says BBM Enterprise Service is "not connected" and Blackberry Internet Service is "Not connected" and mobile network is "not connected" What happened and how do i fix this so i can bbm again while i am here?? or do i have to wait two weeks till i leave camp and go back to home where i have cellphone signal?

Aug 22, 2011my bb torch 9800 is not connecting to wifi settings in my home. i've spoken to tech people both at bell and rim with no solutions. i have three other bb in this house and all connect to wifi. when we change the protocol from wep to wpa my phone works but the others do not. the other phones are brand new. when we switch back to wep setting my phone "fails to associate with network".
