after dialing or receiving a call, how do I get rid of the " Mute, Speaker, Hold" screen. My cheak keeps hitting the buttons. I'm constantly putting people on Mute or Speaker Phone. I don't want to hit the return button and then Home Screen everytime.

It's my first touchscreen phone, so I'm sorry if this has been discussed before.While I'm on a phone call, the following buttons automatically appear on the touchscreen: Mute, Hold, Speaker Phone, and Add Recipient. I have yet to complete a phone conversation without hitting one of these buttons with my cheek. I cannot for the life of me find a way in Options to stop these buttons from appearing during phone calls.I am actually considering returning the phone over this.

When i'm on a phone call it automatically brings up the dial pad instead of going to the standard options like speaker phone and mute and all that. i often switch to speaker phone when on a phone call and i have to click twice when i could just click speaker phone.its just annoying i was wondering if there is a way to switch it to default to the speaker phone screen?

I started noticing it on Thursday, and it's progressively gotten worse.A full charge will last only about 4 hours.I've changed the battery out for a new one, but to no avail. The phone won't hold a charge.It will, however, still charge with either battery (the old and the new), and after it's charged (after being totally dead) it will turn on, andit will connect to Blackberry desktop software.

Also, I still cant seem to prevent BBM from vibrating the phone, despite several places I've set it to NOT vibrate for messages.both in the contacts and in the general settings for BBM messages.I just tried one more thing--for my contacts, I set the options from "active profile" to "off" for the messages. maybe that will do the trick.weird thing is, when I had pressed "try it" when it was set to "active profile" for the contact's messages settings, it didn't vibrate.now i have to wait for an incoming message to see if this irritation is fixed.
Got the update last week and not enjoying it so far (have yet to do factory reset). My main problem (besides lag) is that my phone keeps going to Mute either when I grab it or whatnot, I'm not sure. I keep on Vibrate and keep it in my shirt pocket typically (at work). It seems that handling my phone I somehow change the speaker modes without knowing it. Is there any way to lock the mode so that it won't change when the phone is locked? I don't mind being able to change the volume of audio output when the screen is off but for it to be able to switch to Mute or On is not something I want.

Instead of the normal 6 tiles at the bottom, I have only three now. I cannot mute the line or go to a dial pad. I am chatting with Samsung support about it but they are clueless so far. We have tried a soft reset, resetting the Cache and Data for the Phone App, resetting app preferences and Safe Mode and nothing has worked.

I have looked at all different settings that I could think of but can't seem to fix this. I have tried this using headset as well as speaker phone.
I was able to bring up dialer button (only) if I go to home screen during the call and open up phone again. This time I can use the dialer buttons but still no mute or conf buttons.

It had been working fine until this morning when the iPhone is now stuck in the loop of restarting and stuck in the Apple logo screen.I have tried to hold both the sleep and Home button to reset. But, it just goes back to the same loop.Since the iPhone does not reach the Passcode screen, it is not even recognized by iTunes. So, I cannot restore it, either.How should I proceed?
I've been having a problem with my Torch since I downloaded updates to a few apps the other day. Now any time the Mute button on the top right of the Torch is hit, a chime sounds and a few seconds later a woman's voice says "you have no new messages". My phone is always on silent, but the voice and chime still sound at full volume. This happens frequently as the button gets triggered when my phone is in my pocket.

It was keep getting stuck. I had given it to service center inbangalore. They did some resetting. But again it continued. Its keep gettingstuck and i have to remove the battery and refix the battery again. By keepdoing this, my back pannel has become loose. Now my handset speaker is notworking. My ring tone is not working. I gave it to the service center andthey said its speaker has spoiled. They made me wait for hours. They are asking for the handset for8 to 10 days for the repair. They asked me to take the back up of my files.Now im trying to download the desktop software to take the handset back up.But desktop software is not getting downloaded. I have tried with threecomputers. But it is not getting downlaoded with any of these computers. iam sick and tiered of it. Therez no online support or some custome care tosupport me. I dont have the stand by hand set for 10 days. Im not able totake the back ups. I have somany important data's in my handset. It can only be fixed by a soft or hard reboot, which is quite annoying when you have to do it every other day. The frustrating part is I miss imprtant calls this way and am left on a call wondering if even the call has been established while the other party hears me well.
