Just got my 9810 from AT&T and I expected to get a disk with the PC tools software, but nada! I did get a setup prompt of some sort but i wanted to install the USB driver first so that I could charge my phone from the USB port on my laptop, now I don't know how to get back to that point. Can I install the software on my laptop from BB's web site? If so. what is it called and what is the latest version?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAs a spare time J2ME developer I sometimes run into the annoying security issues, that makes messages popup, and requires my application to be signed if I want to avoid those popups. A certificate costs about $300-$500 a year, which is a lot for a spare time developer who's not making money on it, but mostly is just developing applications to myself. The alternative solution is to put my own root certificate on my phone. In order to do this I need one of the tools that lets me hack my firmware, as far as I understand.
My question is, which one of those tools would be best for me to use? Which one lets me add my own certificate to e.g. a W800 or W760 relatively simple (and preferably free)? Back in the old days I tried Far Manager to give my W800 another set of icons, and a boot-up splash image. I remember nothing about it though, except that it looked like a DOS program, and I bet there are simpler ways to do it today. I've also tried DaVinci very briefly once I needed a free service - but needed to pay anyway to get access to that free service. So which tool would you recommend me, if all I need to do is to give my phone an additional Java Certificate?
i cant get the lgmobile support tools to install. The install progress bar gets maby a half inch across and stops. Is there a place to download the full program? Im running vista btw.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI spent a couple of hours digging around for the right tools to unlock my F3,This includes the flashing tools rsd lite 3.1 and associated images – you will need a USB-motorola F3 cable though or make your own serial / F3 cable (schematics included). These are simply just tools I've bundled up for ease of access etc. If you just want to unlock an F3, use ODM_Unlock_v118h. I have personally tested this and it works fine.

I distinctly remember a few years ago I had to update this version before it would recognize the RIZR.I haven't used this software for a while but I wanted to install it to back up her contacts. It installed fine but when I went to update, it kept saying version is already up to date. Has BVRP stopped supporting this product? You know when in windows on your pc. You look at C: drive and there is a kind of pie chart there saying how much is used. I know an SD card is not like a disk but it would be yummy to see a similar thing on my BB. Is there such an app? Or even anything similar?

I recently sent my phone into repair (Blackberry Curve 8250) as it was completely ruined. I took my SD card out as i have soo many photo's, video's and song's on there and didnt want to lose it. But ever since my phone has come back ferom repair, it picks up that i have inserted the SD but once it has read it nothing is saved on there anymore?I have tried formatting it, setting up the SD card onto the phone, more a less everything. But the funny thing is when i put the SD card in to my brothers Blackberry, everything is on the card!

So I tried to access the iCloud. It asks me for an apple ID. But when I try to use my currently active apple ID it says, "UNSUPPORTED APPLE ID, iCloud requires an Apple ID that is an email address." When I created an Apple ID a few years ago, I made it same as my Yahoo email address, just without the <<@yahoo.com>> part. So I had to create a new Apple ID just to use the iCloud. I entered all my information including my email address. But the system tells me, "INVALID EMAIL ADDRESS, This Apple ID is already being used. If this is your account, reset a forgotten password at iforgot.apple.com."...Hey, I am sorry, but I haven't forgotten my password. The system doesn't allow me to sign in using my existing ID. And then, when I try to create a new ID, it doesn't allow me to create a new one because my email is already used. What am I supposed to do in this case?
