IPhone :: Using Phone As A Disk Drive
Aug 7, 2010I know there are programs out there that let you view your iphone's contents, but I am looking for a way to make my iphone show up with a drive letter and allow me to view its contents. I am trying to use this program called windirstat to map out my iphone's contents and see which files are taking up the most room but I cannot use that program unless my iphone is it's own drive. Also I tried this program called Expandrive which did allow me to make a drive out of my iphone but I was not able to see all the files on my iphone.
So tldr: Looking for program to make iphone into disk drive with it's own letter

Apr 22, 2012I bought an iPhone 4. I read the manual and understood that iCloud has a capability to store files (though I am not sure if it is talking about any files from computer or just the files manageable in iPhone). So I tried to access the iCloud. It asks me for an apple ID. But when I try to use my currently active apple ID it says, "UNSUPPORTED APPLE ID, iCloud requires an Apple ID that is an email address." When I created an Apple ID a few years ago, I made it same as my Yahoo email address, just without the <<@yahoo.com>> part. So I had to create a new Apple ID just to use the iCloud. I entered all my information including my email address. But the system tells me, "INVALID EMAIL ADDRESS, This Apple ID is already being used. If this is your account, reset a forgotten password at iforgot.apple.com."...Hey, I am sorry, but I haven't forgotten my password. The system doesn't allow me to sign in using my existing ID. And then, when I try to create a new ID, it doesn't allow me to create a new one because my email is already used. What am I supposed to do in this case?

Mar 18, 2012I have an iPhone 4 that I sync to iTunes (v 10.6). I used to have the ability to "Enable Disk Use". This was an option in the Summary page of the iPhone when synced. I have since updated the OS to 5.1 & I no longer see this option on iTunes when my phone is sync'd via USB cable. How to re-enable this?

Well it came back up a few nights ago, so I updated to 3.1.3 thinking it doesn't really matter, they will release a new Jailbreak soon.So I've been without a jailbreak for a couple days, and just this morning I got the error again. Apr 3, 2012I've recently bought an iphone 4s, but I'm having trouble synching my itunes to my iphone. It seems to synch for a few moments, the top of my itunes tells me that it's synching 'step 2 of 5' for example, but it never completes it, and my music never appears on my iphone.
It says that the iphone could not be synched because the required disk could not be found. Itunes is not the default player for audio files, could this have something to do with it?

Feb 27, 2011I dropped my phone once or twice: whether this is the reason or not, now when I plug the phone charger in, every time I take it out it tells me there is something wrong with the disk.I finally reinstalled Blackberry manager on my MAC, and when I try to start working with the Blackberry it appears that it wants to reformat my disk; That is something I definitely DO NOT want to do since I have thousands of contacts on there.What can I do? PS I have a new Blackberry that i want to move this data to, but it is looking like it will be impossible. The last time I tried to sync or download with software on my MAC it killed my hard drive. In the system event log, the reason for this is reported as something to do with NokiaMServer.I have not run any applications, so the MServer process must have decided all on its own that it must open something on the external HDD and not let go like a bulldog.Is there any way to get the Nokia software to not lock things? It is a pain to try and keep track of sent / received emails and then print to pdf from a computer later on. I need to archive outgoing and incoming emails as digital images with dates -- "c_06_03_2010_a.pdf" would be the first email I generated today to the client.

1. When I trying to export photo in Picassa example to my PC desktop, its gives me an error: Unable to write all files due to Disk Error.
2. When I trying to rotate photo with Windows Photo Viewer, its says: there's problem with Picture File properties.
First I thought maybe is problem in Picasa or in Windows7, but with photos, taken half an year ago, everything is OK! I have checked twice all camera settings in Vivaz, didn't find nothing. Camera settings has been all the time the same: HD (16:9), Google Geo etc. Here is one photo with problems for downloading.
