Jun 1, 2011The word "large" is highlighted in yellow and frozen in the lower left hand of the screen. I have tried shutting it off several times. Not even a week old..

Sep 28, 2012I am from South Africa using a 9810 on Mtn network with OS 7.1 . I took my contract out under my name and i gave the 9810 to the wife. The phone automatically asked her to update to os7.1 and the phone worked well for a month.
Eventually the phone started freezing where i can see my screen but i cant see beyond what my screen shows, my cursor works fine as if i scroll down and click it will randomely select the menu icon below or the BBm contact below.
I have done a battery pull not , eventually the wife got fed up and said we need to swop phones , so now i am using a 9810 that is useless if you ask me.
The otther problem i am having is when i switched devices my BB Id stayed on my old phone and her BBId stayed on the 9810 any way i can swop , i tried going into menu > device > BBID and edit it but it keeps telling me incorrect password. Also my e-mail is stuck on that device and her e-mail on my device.

Sep 19, 2011My new Torch 9850 and the Blackberry Desktop software are working fine. The 9850 has Documents To Go installed. I need the companion software to sync the Word and Excel files on my PC with the DTG on the 9850, since the BB Desktop doesn't seem to include those files. From where do I download the Documents To Go Desktop application for PC that is compatible with the RIM 9850? The manufacturer of DTG says to go to RIM for support.

BB Torch :: Alt Function Is Frozen?
May 23, 2012It would seem that the ALT function is stuck because I can only access the numbers and not the letters on both the physical keyboard and the virtual keyboard.
I have reset the phone several times. Updated with the latest software, even reset to factory setting and still nothing. My phone is locked with a password so I can't even enter my PIN because it comprises of letters. My carrier can't do anything and my warranty has expired.
I have read some of the other similar problems and my phone has no case or cover on it. On top of it all, it is stuck in SOS mode so I don't even have a signal so I can't even receive phone calls.

Apr 11, 2011Woke up this morning to find my 9800 Torch had ran out of battery it was completely dead. When I tried to charge the phone the startup screen came up as normal but it froze when it got to a certain point, I took out the battery and replaced it after 30 seconds, the phone started to reboot and then froze at the same point.I have reinstalled the OS onto my device from Blackberry desktop and have tried this several times today but it is still freezing at the same point, after about 20-30 minutes of leaving the phone it eventually very slowly came on!t the moment my phone is completely useless to me as it has froze again.
