Dec 7, 2014My iPhone 5s will not respond. i was in the middle of doing a system settings restore when it became stuck on the load screen. now when i manually shut it down it wants to turn back on and still be stuck on the load screen and the bar will not fill up at all... if i call apple will they fix this over the phone or will they tell me to get lost since i purchased the phone second hand a few months back?... I love the phone i just want to forget this whole restore thing didn't happen

I would rather that i didnt have to use the swipe before entering the password, but i cannot seem to disable this without disabling the screen lock completely.

Aug 20, 2015I can not get the "swipe" option back on my Galaxy S5. I had used the WiFi at work one day but decided that I really did not need it so I had turned it off. It did ask me to reset my security option to pin, pattern, etc etc so I set a pin number, but now I can't get it back to swipe - the "Swipe" section is grayed out in the "Select screen lock" section and it says "Turned off by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage." I already tried to clear credentials and I also looked for the certificate it asked me to install and i removed that as well. None of that has solved my issue. What I need to do to get swipe access back?

I have to unlock using the side unlock key, and answer the phone. I now set the Any key Answer function on, so I can answer by pressing the white key or the unlock side key. But I am afraid that the side lock key is going to give after prolonged use. And it's kind of inconvenient especially when I don't want to answer a call. I have tried soft reset, hard reset, and taking out the battery and everything. Nothing worked. Can anyone give me advice on this issue?
