I get a message repeatedly from my lock screen to "Swipe down to exit full screen" randomly. I then have to press OK to close out the message. It didn't do this until past month or so.

I'm mute & 1 handed, so i talk with my phone.. It isn't fun having to sit there pressing backspace 9x instead of 1x then just reswyping. I like the in-house keyboard because of the 1 handed option- it is very nice.. but, if this can't be done with the stock keyboard, I guess I'll have to use the full size google kb...
I am having a debilitating issue with the 1520. The bing search window popping up when my hand is no where near the search button. It exits me out of any app I am in and in some cases it freezes and I cannot press anything or exit the search screen. I have the Belkin folio wallet case and I noticed when closing the case it activates the search button. I lowered the touch sensitivity and this seemed to remedy that issue however the constant pop up of the bing search screen continues. I am going to do a wipe and reset of the device. Perhaps I have a lemon or maybe this device is not ready for primetime?

Currently, my HTC one m7 requires that i swipe the screen and then enter my screen lock password to access the phone.
I would rather that i didnt have to use the swipe before entering the password, but i cannot seem to disable this without disabling the screen lock completely.
I have tried several apps to do this including No Lock and Anti Lock, but both just seem to completely disable the screen locking at all.
I will always turn my phone on by swiping the screen on... A few times a day it will vibrate like it registers but then the screen doesn't turn on until 5 to 8 seconds later.

I can not get the "swipe" option back on my Galaxy S5. I had used the WiFi at work one day but decided that I really did not need it so I had turned it off. It did ask me to reset my security option to pin, pattern, etc etc so I set a pin number, but now I can't get it back to swipe - the "Swipe" section is grayed out in the "Select screen lock" section and it says "Turned off by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage." I already tried to clear credentials and I also looked for the certificate it asked me to install and i removed that as well. None of that has solved my issue. What I need to do to get swipe access back?

I don't want to have to swipe to go the the home screen. I have tried going into Location and Security>Set up screen lock>None. This didn't do anything. First off when I take my phone out of lock or wake up it from sleeping the icons are missing till i wipe my finger across the screen.. its weird to explain but its kinda like i have to swipe the whole screen for the icons to be visable the same thing happens when my phone goes to sleep and the keyboard is open.. any ideas?
and another thing is sometimes ill be writting a msg and my phone will make 3 beeping prompting type of noise any idea what this is?
I have seen others having the same problem: it used to work fine, but suddenly I can't answer phone call by just swipe the screen. I have to unlock using the side unlock key, and answer the phone. I now set the Any key Answer function on, so I can answer by pressing the white key or the unlock side key. But I am afraid that the side lock key is going to give after prolonged use. And it's kind of inconvenient especially when I don't want to answer a call. I have tried soft reset, hard reset, and taking out the battery and everything. Nothing worked. Can anyone give me advice on this issue?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola Droid Turbo. I have never locked the phone. I downloaded ANDROID PAY app last night. It required a screen lock to secure credit card. I agreed and set up a pattern screen lock. I got tired of unlocking phone every time. I went to disable the screen lock and I am NOT ABLE to do that. The security settings for NONE and SWIPE have been grayed out and are no longer an option. I have removed ANDROID PAY and still have issue.

Spotify is that the full screen artwork on the lock screen has gone. It now shows a small widget that only has a pause and next track option. What happened to the full screen that was there before with my Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5s.
