Aug 21, 2015Currently, my HTC one m7 requires that i swipe the screen and then enter my screen lock password to access the phone.
I would rather that i didnt have to use the swipe before entering the password, but i cannot seem to disable this without disabling the screen lock completely.
I have tried several apps to do this including No Lock and Anti Lock, but both just seem to completely disable the screen locking at all.

Aug 20, 2015I can not get the "swipe" option back on my Galaxy S5. I had used the WiFi at work one day but decided that I really did not need it so I had turned it off. It did ask me to reset my security option to pin, pattern, etc etc so I set a pin number, but now I can't get it back to swipe - the "Swipe" section is grayed out in the "Select screen lock" section and it says "Turned off by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage." I already tried to clear credentials and I also looked for the certificate it asked me to install and i removed that as well. None of that has solved my issue. What I need to do to get swipe access back?

Apr 21, 2010I have seen others having the same problem: it used to work fine, but suddenly I can't answer phone call by just swipe the screen. I have to unlock using the side unlock key, and answer the phone. I now set the Any key Answer function on, so I can answer by pressing the white key or the unlock side key. But I am afraid that the side lock key is going to give after prolonged use. And it's kind of inconvenient especially when I don't want to answer a call. I have tried soft reset, hard reset, and taking out the battery and everything. Nothing worked. Can anyone give me advice on this issue?

Jul 8, 2014Why this is happening right now but my phone won't charge. When I plug it in the red notification light blinks for a while, then the charging logo appears on the screen for a short time and during that time red is light constantly lid, as it was supposed to, however then the screen goes black again and the light starts blinking.
I found a solution on YouTube which suggested me to tape power button firmly so it's always pushed and then charge it for an hour. I did exactly the same thing, nothing changed.
It's been more than 2 hours and my phone is still charging with the same cycle (blinking red light, then charging logo, then blinking again). I wonder what happened to my phone and what can I do now?
I realized that with using charging dock I can see a glimpse of Xperia and Sony logo but then they vanish. The phone seems to be restarting itself while I use the dock.

I agreed and set up a pattern screen lock. I got tired of unlocking phone every time. I went to disable the screen lock and I am NOT ABLE to do that. The security settings for NONE and SWIPE have been grayed out and are no longer an option. I have removed ANDROID PAY and still have issue.
