I can't figure out how to use word completion using the onscreen keyboard. the word appears but I don't know how to select it maybe I am dumb? i have tried everything. searched the manual and the discussion threads with no luck.
View 3 RepliesI can not get word completion to work even if I select Prediction setting Word complet. On On my previous Nokia, if I part-typed a word with predictive text it would suggest likely words but the C3-01 seems reluctant to do so?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I was using my x10 when it was only 1.6, when you typed a letter using the android keyboard, it would give multiple word suggestions (ie. i - is, it, in, etc.) which helped a lot. But with 2.1, if I turn it's word suggestions, it only provides me with proper names or contact names.Any way to allow 2.1 to use word suggestions other than these proper/contact names? I don't like the default keyboard.

It's as if the keyboard is drawing on top of everything else on screen, it happens with all keyboards I've tried; LG keyboard, Ginger Keyboard, and Google Keyboard(my current).
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have ics installed in sk17i. I cannot disable the word suggestions that come on top of the on board keyboard which result in lesser space to view when writing a message. I have checked out language and input settings and disabled all learning words and no suggestion required from the keyboard. Also have changed the settings that come in the on board keyboard doing the same there. However the word suggestion still comes. The hardware qwerty keypad however doesn't show any suggestion.

Like many others i hate that i can not change a word that i discover was wrong by scrolling back to the word and underlining it then scrolling through with the * button till i find the word it was meant to be. Instead i have to delete the whole word and re-type it.I loved my old nokias as i could do this with them.Anyway i can not for the life of me get my nokia to add Shiver or Shivering to the dictionary. It types pig then i get the ? so i open up spell and the word save and then send but each time i try to type shiver or shivering again i go through the whole process of manually typing the word as it didnt get added to dictionary.
