the questions basically in the title hehe! Itd be great if the N97 has an on-screen keyboard, as I may not always want to slide the physical one out to type.I plan on buying a refurbished one from 3 network soon too, would anyone advise against buying it refurbished? My knowledge on phones and the industry isnt too great

But when I do that, I always open the manage connections option. Can someone explain how to get it to show wo opening the physical keyboard?

The screen went black, or The screen got mirrored. but everything still worked when The keyboard was not sliced open. Yesterday, my bb just went black when i opened The keyboard and this time, the screen stayed black. Ever since I upgraded, if I go to the search screen, then flick the screen back to the first Aps page, the keyboard stays there in the middle of the screen and I have to click the off button off and on again.

since installing .411 my Bold hasn't had a single problem, apart from one. Every now and again, I will notice it light up, the screen and keyboard both turn on. After a couple of seconds, it will dim out as it would after use.
I have a windows mobile phone and before I receive a text message, that is exactly what that does, but I receive nothing when the Bold lights up? The only fix I have is to put it into bedside mode as it doesn't seem to happen when in that state....
Somedays ago the keyboard on my screen stopped displaying, then one day my phone started deleting data and I had to take the battery out to stop it., and when I put it back again there is no screen display..

View 1 Replies View RelatedI restarted my phone and it is on the lock screen with a 4 digit pin to unlock it, the problem is that has switched the default keyboard to the voice keyboard (I think it's called Google Now).
I can't access settings or the app drawer. Restarting it the phone still needs the pin. I have 'said' the pin, 'said' it followed by 'enter' or 'return' but it's not working.
The phone also turned off my ringer for some reason when it restarted ....
My password to my phone is in English. I use both Arabic and English for my phone. My keyboard is set to Arabic and I have locked my phone. Now I want to unlock my phone but I can't change back to English to type in my password so I am unable to do anything right now.

Now, on the lock screen, no keyboard pops up when I try to enter my password, only the Google Voice red button, which doesn't actually record anything. It just stays statically in red 'waiting for results.' When I press the keyboard image next to the password input box, the 'Choose Input Method' option shows up, with no options to select from. I've tried clearing the cache as well, to no avail.
How can I get past this seemingly minor problem which has completely locked me out of my phone?
My droid definitely had an issue with the slider mechanism. It became extremely loose and would open up in my pocket all the time. Also, there was a huge gap between the slider and the keyboard. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

I have iPhone 4. When I had iOS 4 installed I had no problems.
Once I upgraded to iOS 5, it all went downhill! Everytime I use the keyboard, after a few strokes, the system crashes.
Open applications close, Apple logo appears, then it goes to Home screen, and sometimes it just goes straight to Home screen. I tried restoring my iPhone using iTunes several times, without backup, and had no luck.
Currently I'm running iOS 5.1.1. The weird thing is, when using the keypad to dial, this never happens no matter what I click and how rapidly I do.

I am unable to type anything on the touch screen keyboard. The keyboard pops up when required but unable to type anything.I even tried removing the battery with the power still on and inserting it back but this did not help.
