Having an annoying problem where when I'm doing something using the keyboard and put the phone down. I go to open the phone to the lock screen and the keyboard remains blocking my pattern to open the phone. The only way I can open my phone is to (double click) open the camera.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI restarted my phone and it is on the lock screen with a 4 digit pin to unlock it, the problem is that has switched the default keyboard to the voice keyboard (I think it's called Google Now).
I can't access settings or the app drawer. Restarting it the phone still needs the pin. I have 'said' the pin, 'said' it followed by 'enter' or 'return' but it's not working.
The phone also turned off my ringer for some reason when it restarted ....
My password to my phone is in English. I use both Arabic and English for my phone. My keyboard is set to Arabic and I have locked my phone. Now I want to unlock my phone but I can't change back to English to type in my password so I am unable to do anything right now.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI uninstalled my Swype keyboard and was in the process of reinstalling a new one when my phone screen shut off. Now, on the lock screen, no keyboard pops up when I try to enter my password, only the Google Voice red button, which doesn't actually record anything. It just stays statically in red 'waiting for results.' When I press the keyboard image next to the password input box, the 'Choose Input Method' option shows up, with no options to select from. I've tried clearing the cache as well, to no avail.
How can I get past this seemingly minor problem which has completely locked me out of my phone?
I am placing a call, while it rings, the screen dims to black, and the touch screen and all keys do not wqork anymore.This happens for a couple of weeks, and then suddently for a few times it is ok.So, I cannot see who am I spe3aking to, who am I calling, and more important, cannot access my contacts,calnedar , conf call and so on during call.The end call does work.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe Keyboard Lock Icon was on the Home Screen till I installed the updates that were sent to me today on my BB. Now that Icon has disappeared. Checked the Help Section and could only find out how to lock or unlock screen manually. Checked the instruction booklet that came with it....again no help. Searched through the BB Curve Demo online - still nothing about adding back the icon. It was so easy just to push that button and not have to worry about the keys in my pocket or purse.....how do i get it back? If I dont want it back I wont install updates any longer because I found I had ro reset things back the way I wanted them to.....moving icons from folders to home screen etc....please tell me there is a way to get this back....just bought this BB in June and first one i have owned and have come to find it difficult to do without..
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm running the latest Dev preview so I have Cyan. I had an event on my calendar for last night. It starting showing the day before, awesome, but today it won't go away. I even restarted the phone, no dice. Deleted yesterdays event from my calendar, still there.
Having issues with the lock screen and calendar events with Cyan? I did a hard reset after doing the Cyan update and I did not restore from a backup. Also my calendar item in question was one I put into my phones calendar and does not come from my sync'd email account calendar or anything.
So i flashed the stock image and sideloaded 5.1 via WugFresh. Everything went fine and the phone told me i had to reboot it. I did and it sat on the google lock screen for way too long. I am able to hold down power button and volume and get back into recovery mode but the same thing keeps happening: stuck on the lockscreen.

I currently have an old email notification stuck on my lock screen, and also on the live tile. I have deleted the email, refreshed the account, restarted the phone.
Both lock screen and live tile now no longer show new mail.
Will these phones be getting regular updates?

From my previous software, it was named Keyboard Lock and I set it as one of my convenience keys. After the update, I noticed that it no longer existed. Enough to put anyone in a great mood.Fixing the screen isn't the problem though. 02 have agreed to fix it for me, for a small fee, but they have confirmed that the whole phone will be flashed before hand. This is not good. Any way to get that back on the s6/edge?? Not sure why they did away with this.

So my fully updated S5 lock screen will disable itself randomly. I will have it on the swipe or code lock and several days later it will just auto put it back to no screen lock. Same is happening to my wife's S5 and we have a few same apps that we have had for a year. It could be several days to one day.

Or can I downgrade to 5.0.2 back and i have seen some guys who reset the knox counter (which is shown in the bootloader) so I have got knox 01 (00500) is there anyway I can get it back to zero?

When i tried volume up+ power button+ home it didnt go to recovery mode. i can only go to download mode. What can i do?
when i tried to flash with odin the results were: stucks on setup connection, nand write start fail and recovery is not seandroid enforcing.
I had no open apps or anything. It just seemed to freeze at 17:43. Can't power off, can't get to any other screens...it's frozen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased an S6 off of CL yesterday, was able to use it all evening and set it up via Wifi (purchased it after Verizon stores were closed, so have not been able to get a SIM card or get it activated with service). Everything was working perfectly.
This morning it asked to update, I accepted. Ever since the update when booting it is stuck on the red verizon screen. I have tried clearing the cache and doing a factory reset, no changes.
So I had my phone in my pocket all night, with a screen code lock so nothing could be pressed, and when I woke up and took it out everything was in black and white (apps, texts, entire interface). I know this is what happens when you turn on Ultra Power Save mode, but it wasn't enabled when I checked. I enabled and disabled that mode, cleared my cache partition, checked under Direct Access to make sure Grayscale wasn't on, rebooted, and I've restarted a couple of times. Nothing.

On reboot i am stuck at the black and white powered by android screen. I can reboot the phone with the volume down and power button combo but i cannot get it to boot into download mode using volume up+home+power buttons.
