Dec 7, 2015I had no open apps or anything. It just seemed to freeze at 17:43. Can't power off, can't get to any other screens...it's frozen.

Galaxy S6 :: Stuck On Warning Screen - Phone Doesn't Power Off
Dec 4, 2015I tried to flash the newest Vodafone firmware (PDA G920FXXU3QOJQ, CSC G920FVFG3QOJQ, Modem G920FXXU3QOJQ) on my G920F using Odin.
The first ROM i tried was corrupted and didn't pass the md5-check, so i downloaded a new one from samdownloads.de and tried again.
Odin shows the usual messages until hidden.img is written, after that it says "Complete (write) operation failed" and, after reboot, leaves me with a warning screen reading
"An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software."
I can power it down and reset with power+vol down, but it only gets to the same turqoise screen again and thats it. If I press the combo immediately, i can get into d/l mode, also.
Just checked a second time, failed again, now i am stuck with a phone that doesn't power off anymore. Waiting for the battery to die is not an option, just charged it, around 95% full. I suppose i have to flash a new bootloader? My TWRP is also gone, bad news. Do I have to install modem, bootloader and pit file now?

Jan 15, 2015I'm having trouble syncing all of my contacts from my Samsung Galaxy S5 to my new 2015 Chevy Malibu. When I pair the devices it will ask me on my phone if the car has permission to access my contacts and I'll say yes. When I go into the phonebook on the car or try to voice dial by a name it only pulls 10ish contacts from my phone. I've tried re-pairing, turning off wifi and re-pairing, making sure 4g is on and re-pairing to no avail. Again.

My phone ran out of battery so I put it on charge, as normal. Upon returning to my phone 30 minutes later it was on a bright, light blue / green screen that said "Factory Mode" in the top left corner and "Downloading - Do Not Turn Off Target" in the centre. I left this for an hour as I couldn't do anything, and it is still the same? Can't even turn the device off, or on.
I've not even had the phone a month, only have a handful of social media apps and last used it to take photos. Phone ran out of battery again. Rebooted after a charge and it is fine.

Aug 10, 2015So i have a sprint s6 with 5.1.1 OBE. I have flashed a kernel for root. I found a video online to make RAM more managable and it had to do with earasing some data in the files and reboot. Now my phone is stuck on a boot loop and goes into the "Sprint spark" screen for like 5 min and restarts. Rocovery mode does not work but download mode does. I was thinking of trying to update with smart switch since there is a small update or maybe re flashing the kernel but i dont think that work and the stock roms for OFE arnt online yet.

*I have not messed with any modifications.

My phone had died because the battery life ran out. I charged it fully and unplugged it. I kept it off for a little while, and when I turned it on it booted normally to the start-up screen, blinked off and restarted back to the screen; it remained stuck there. I can power off and enter recovery mode, but I can't power off. The charge logo appears when I plug it up, but it stays there with an empty power logo even after I unplug it. I have to always take out the battery to turn it off. What did I do wrong, and I can I fix it without having to wipe out documents? (I have a lot of writing documents).

This is the first time I've tried buying an app and its just not working. I can download free apps from the Market just fine, its just the paid apps that are giving me grief!
