yesterday my Nokia N85 ran out of Charge. This morning i plugged it in with either a Usb cable to computer or a wall usb Charger and after around a minute the battery bar shows up.It doesn't charge but just sits there with 1 power bar and in power saving mode.

I had less than 7% of battery and I went into Ultra Power Saving Mode where I got only notification upper tab and blank screen below. I reboot my phone but stuck on Samsung logo. How to fix this?
Tried wipe cache in recovery mode and charging phone up to 100% but no luck, still stuck on Samsung logo.
Phone is international S6, not rooted, official. Any options except hard reset?
So I am having a very strange problem. I have been using the Situations App (formerly Nokia Situations) to automatically put my phone into offline mode, and power saving mode over night. 9pm to 6:30am.Recently the phone as started refusing to leave the offline mode in the morning. Even if I try to change the profile manually it says "Unable to change profile". The only way I can get out of offline mode is to reboot.I uninstalled Situations, and manually put the phone into offline mode and power saving mode. By the morning I had the same issue, stuck in offline mode until reboot. So it's not the App causing the problem. I've tried a soft reset, same problem still.
I also noticed that over-night (from fully charged before 9pm) to 6:30am I used about 70% of my charge. (A combination of power saving mode and offline mode is killing my battery!)I would have to go to work and immediately put my phone on charge! I.e.. 12 hours of offline + power save has drained my battery almost completely.Last night I decided to use the Situations App to put the phone into offline mode, BUT NOT activate power save mode.This morning the phone had virtually full charge and it had no problem returning to online mode.So it's ONLY if I use BOTH power-save and offline. (Tonight I will try using power-saving mode and NOT offline mode to see if it's only the power-saving mode causing the issue!)If I manually enter offline+power-save mode, and then try to return to on-line/non-power-save mode, relatively quickly, i.e.. Not over-night, everything is fine. It's only over night the problems start!

In other words, when the power saving mode is active, only GSM mode will work and 3G/video calling will not work. If I deactivate power saving mode to make a video call, device starts heating up and power in battery decreases very fastly. How to keep power saving mode active in dual and 3g modes?

1) My Screen Saver stopped working... screen stays lit indefinitely, even when locked... after multiple restarts and lots of frustration it came back, but this issue has already happened twice - surely a bug

My E72 light time out is currently set to 5 seconds, I have tried everything to change this to a longer period, but all i get is a message telling me that it is unable to change, due to power saving mode active.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought yesterday a Nokia X2-00 and been exploring it for a while, so far so good, pretty happy and satisfied with it, but there's a problem that bothers and I can't seem to find a solution for it. About the screen-saver, I can, for example, put it as a digital clock, and set a timer for when the phone to switch to screen-saver mode. Problem is, I don't seem to find anywhere an option to play with the sleep mode - no matter what, about 10 seconds after the screen saver goes active, the screen goes totally black (goes into sleep mode) and I need to press a button to wake it up. No digital clock display, no nothing.I need to be able to see the clock (and possibly an icon for missed calls/new texts) without having to touch a button. On all my old phones you could play with both screen saver/power saving/sleep mode options, but not here. What can I do?

I get a pop-up saying to wait while it configures (0/100)... But it doesn't ever turn on.

Today, I turned on my extreme power saver mode. I turned it on at 1 p.m at about 11% and at 3 o'clock it was down to 4% . That doesn't really seem like any kind of power saving to me. I burned up 7 percent in 2 hours, and I wasnt using the phone. I think I might've used less power had I not done anything!!

I have it on 95% of the time. Set it to "immediately".
Only way I have found to make it last through the day at work.
Although I have it so power saving mode doesn't officially 'click on' until battery is at 20%, should I be leaving the icon on at all times? I guess what I'm confused on is, does it really enable as soon as I click power saving or does it basically say it's ready to go, not on, but will click on at 20%?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI cannot get my phone out of power mode. It is turned off, but auto brightness goes lowest possible still. No lights on buttons, no haptic feedback, no sounds (hate them, but turn on to see).
It's not hardware as the haptic buttons light and vibrate on boot... Just nothing after boot up. Haven't done anything but let my phone hit 10% battery before charging.
My Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is locked--""Unable to recognize your fingerprint. Enter your backup password to unlock the device". Apparently I do not know the password.
It is in Ultra Power Saving mode. I have tried Android Device Manager...the message I entered shows on the screen, but the temporary password I set does not work. Almost feels like the screen I'm entering that password on is the wrong screen, and I'm limited by the power saving features.
Not sure what else to try; Samsung's Locate my Phone doesn't seem useful.
After activating my Ultra Power Saving mode, I was able to deactivate, however my phone then went into a similar power saving mode, grey scale screen, no apps and no option to exit the mode available on any accessible parts of the settings. I tried going onto android/google device manager but the phone seems to have glitched from what I believe is because I put it in ultra power saving mode.
it's possible to disable ultra power saving mode while the phone is still locked.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI used Ultra Power Saving Mode last night for about an hour. When I reverted back from that about half of my icons were missing including my stock Voicemail, YouTube, Yahoo Mail, all my games...etc.
Looked a little further into it this morning on Application Manager and the apps are still present on the phone and installed, but "Turned Off". If I tap on them, some have a button that says "Enable" (which appears to be all the pre-loaded apps that came with the phone) but most of them don't.
I've used Ultra Power Saving Mode as recent as two weeks ago with no problem.
I recently rooted my samsung s5 to try and troubleshoot my power button not working, as when I restarted before root, it would work for a minute then stop. But after rooting i accidentally restarted my phone with a power manager app in recovery mode and now I can not connect to my phone via odin. Volume up/down to move highlight power button to select.

It might stay iin svc all of 2 secs before it leaves again . I did notice every once in a while the phone would display that it is in "power save mode." I had someone try to call my phone and it went to voicemail so I know it is sill on . I cannot send/receive calls/text messages .
