I used odin to return to original firmware, and it passes but won't go past title screen. The battery won't even charge. Is everything deleted? Can att tell it was rooted?
View 1 RepliesMy lg g3 is stuck on a boot loop on start up I got this after upgrading to lollipop and didn't even try of flashing custom roms. I flashed it back to kitkat stock rom but this didn't solve the problem. The interesting fact is that the phone boots without any flaws when connected to the official charger but not with other android chargers with lower capacities so i'm really tempted to replace the battery I want to know whether this is happening due to a faulty battery...

In the middle of the setting up process, I was redirected to a separate page asking me to log in to the previous account I had before I abnormally reset the phone. Since I never made one, I am now stuck on that screen. Is there a way for me to bypass it or reset my phone so that I do not have to go through the Samsung account log in?

Or can I downgrade to 5.0.2 back and i have seen some guys who reset the knox counter (which is shown in the bootloader) so I have got knox 01 (00500) is there anyway I can get it back to zero?

Having an annoying problem where when I'm doing something using the keyboard and put the phone down. I go to open the phone to the lock screen and the keyboard remains blocking my pattern to open the phone. The only way I can open my phone is to (double click) open the camera.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased an S6 off of CL yesterday, was able to use it all evening and set it up via Wifi (purchased it after Verizon stores were closed, so have not been able to get a SIM card or get it activated with service). Everything was working perfectly.
This morning it asked to update, I accepted. Ever since the update when booting it is stuck on the red verizon screen. I have tried clearing the cache and doing a factory reset, no changes.
So I had my phone in my pocket all night, with a screen code lock so nothing could be pressed, and when I woke up and took it out everything was in black and white (apps, texts, entire interface). I know this is what happens when you turn on Ultra Power Save mode, but it wasn't enabled when I checked. I enabled and disabled that mode, cleared my cache partition, checked under Direct Access to make sure Grayscale wasn't on, rebooted, and I've restarted a couple of times. Nothing.

On reboot i am stuck at the black and white powered by android screen. I can reboot the phone with the volume down and power button combo but i cannot get it to boot into download mode using volume up+home+power buttons.

My phone ran out of battery so I put it on charge, as normal. Upon returning to my phone 30 minutes later it was on a bright, light blue / green screen that said "Factory Mode" in the top left corner and "Downloading - Do Not Turn Off Target" in the centre. I left this for an hour as I couldn't do anything, and it is still the same? Can't even turn the device off, or on.

Furthermore, if I turn it off and plug it in, it will turn on automatically! I can't make it stay off when plugged in.
Side question: How can I disable annoying low battery power notification when it reaches 15%?
I received a voicemail and now the notification is stuck on my screen. i am not able to swipe it away and when i click and hold on it i go to the app info and the options are, set priority and hide content. Both i turned off and when i pulled down the notification bar it is still there. I have read previous posts but none apply to the s6. I read that you should do a system restart, but will that delete all the things on my phone?

One is movable and fully functional (works normally) and the other is stuck in the bottom right corner of my screen and is grayed out (but visible) and is not movable or functional.
I have done the following:
1) Reset phone;
2) Turned the Toolbox "on" and "off" in Settings (when doing this, the functional Toolbox Icon turns on and off as it should);
3) Battery pull. Still, no luck as the non-functioning Toolbox Icon simply will not go away...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI tried to flash the newest Vodafone firmware (PDA G920FXXU3QOJQ, CSC G920FVFG3QOJQ, Modem G920FXXU3QOJQ) on my G920F using Odin.
The first ROM i tried was corrupted and didn't pass the md5-check, so i downloaded a new one from samdownloads.de and tried again.
Odin shows the usual messages until hidden.img is written, after that it says "Complete (write) operation failed" and, after reboot, leaves me with a warning screen reading
"An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software."
I can power it down and reset with power+vol down, but it only gets to the same turqoise screen again and thats it. If I press the combo immediately, i can get into d/l mode, also.
Just checked a second time, failed again, now i am stuck with a phone that doesn't power off anymore. Waiting for the battery to die is not an option, just charged it, around 95% full. I suppose i have to flash a new bootloader? My TWRP is also gone, bad news. Do I have to install modem, bootloader and pit file now?
