Samsung Galaxy s5 froze today and will not get past startup screen. Reading differs posts I tried to reset but still will not go to android screen . Ha blue writing in top left stating recovery booting but then nothing?
View 1 RepliesI got the S6 Edge from t-mobile (g925st). I believe the OS crashed, the phone won't boot up. If I turn it on it will display the Samsung galaxy s6 edge logo and reboot again. I tried to go into recovery mode but it just reboots itself. The only mode I can go into is download mode.

In the middle of the setting up process, I was redirected to a separate page asking me to log in to the previous account I had before I abnormally reset the phone. Since I never made one, I am now stuck on that screen. Is there a way for me to bypass it or reset my phone so that I do not have to go through the Samsung account log in?

View 1 Replies View RelatedLast night I did the lollipop update for my Samsung s5 using Samsung Kies and all went fine until it booted up. The phone just kept rebooting itself after being on the lock screen for a few seconds. I booted it into recovery mode and factory resetting and wiping the cache but after the setup screens it just keeps restarting again.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have trusted voice enabled so saying "OK google" should unlock my screen but it doesn't. This is difficult when I am trying to set an alarm. I don't feel like picking my phone up and having to use my fingerprint to unlock the screen and accept the alarm.
try to confirm that it doesn't or does unlock their lock screen on the s6? I am on the latest software.
This morning I left my phone in my bootbag. Came back and noticed there was a small crack not in the cover itself but the actual screen. Now the screen is black, doesn't seem like an liquid has spilt like when a screen breaks (But then what do I know?!).I got a friend to phone it, it still rings.. vibrates, the two lights either side of the button still light up.. does what it usually should. But the screen itself remains black. I plugged it into Kies via USB in the hope I could create a backup and order a new phone. But because it has a keylock on the home screen. I need to unlock that in order for Kies to connect.Is there any other way at all I can remove the sufficient data? E.g. Photo's, Videos.. as there's alot of sentimental things on there. I should really learn to start backing things up. But its always too late to say that.

Furthermore, if I turn it off and plug it in, it will turn on automatically! I can't make it stay off when plugged in.
Side question: How can I disable annoying low battery power notification when it reaches 15%?
I did encryption as I want to sell my phone, now it just keeps booting to "Encryption failed", I've factory wiped, formatted date, flashed stock firmware in Odin, still the same.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got my 3gs 16gb white iphone on Dec 23rd, and it went completely black and died (went black while the battery was pretty full) I was browsing on safari a few minutes prior to noticing it had gone black. I was able to restore it but I'm pretty worried how frequent this is supposed to happen and how dependable the iphone is. I'm not always going to have my laptop with me and the whole point of me getting the iphone was to upgrade to a more reliable device. Also when I restored my phone none of my third party applications were restored. Will I have to download these again? and are the data that was saved within the applications irreplaceable?

View 9 Replies View RelatedFor reasons unknown, after shutting off my phone (I suppose it was a forced shutoff, since the webpage I was viewing had frozen), my Galaxy SII now refuses to go past the splash page/start-up screen, that says "SAMSUNG GALAXY SII". The text will display for about 5 seconds, then the screen will go black for about five seconds, then it will redisplay the text for five seconds, in a never-ending loop.
The phone will charge, and if I turn it off then plug it in I get the standard picture of a charging battery. If I plug the phone in my laptop, the laptop does not recognize that it is plugged in, though the phone does charge.
I've tried getting access to the recovery menu, but I can't seem to get to it - once I push the power button, it enters the splash page loop. The only thing that will end the loop is removing the battery.
I have no idea what I've done to force it into this loop, but it's extremely inconvenient.
I bought a Nokia Lumia 610 second hand today and saw it working etc. However when I got it home and turned it on it wouldn't let me operate the phone properly. I scrolled up to find it asking for a password. Now the problem is, the person I bought the phone from is not answering his texts, calls or emails and it looks like he has sold me the phone and blocked it. Is there a way around this at all as I really like the phone and want to use it.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThis is my first Blackberry. It's a Curve 9320. I switched it on, and it comes up with Device Language Selection Screen with English (US) and a down arrow, and an OK box. Nothing I've tried gets me past this screen. I would prefer UK English, but either English would do if I could use the phone! The paperwork that came with the phone seems to assume you know how to use it. Searching the Blackberry site hasn't come up with anything useful.

I need to access my contacts but I guess when it hit the ground the face buttons got disconnected so I can't do anything at all. I'm due to get my new phone this tuesday and I have a couple hundred contacts, most are important. What should I do? I've tried syncing it and backing it up but that's only for the media card. I can't access the device memory to get into the contacts. I also have like a bajillion texts left unchecked.
